美國(guó)和平隊(duì)志愿者在中國(guó)的跨文化適應(yīng)性研究

不同文化背景的人群在相互交際的過(guò)程中會(huì)彼此影響,變化也隨之發(fā)生。對(duì)于這些變化人們?nèi)绾螒?yīng)對(duì),這也成為跨文化交際領(lǐng)域研究的課題。美國(guó)和平隊(duì)是世界上最大的志愿者組織之一,進(jìn)入中國(guó)服務(wù)也已經(jīng)有二十多年了。因此,對(duì)于和平隊(duì)志愿者在中國(guó)的跨文化適應(yīng)性研究很有意義,也是很必要的。本研究基于Colleen Ward的ABC模型,從情感,行為和認(rèn)知三個(gè)層面來(lái)探索美國(guó)和平隊(duì)志愿者在中國(guó)的跨文化經(jīng)歷。這三個(gè)層面分別對(duì)應(yīng)了跨文化適應(yīng)研究領(lǐng)域的三種視角:壓力與應(yīng)對(duì)策略,文化學(xué)習(xí)和身份認(rèn)同。本研究從這三個(gè)層面調(diào)查了影響和平隊(duì)志愿者適應(yīng)狀況的相關(guān)因素及其適應(yīng)結(jié)果,即心理適應(yīng)和社會(huì)文化適應(yīng)狀況。本文采用了深度訪(fǎng)談的方式,對(duì)位于中國(guó)西北地區(qū)甘肅省的18名和平隊(duì)志愿者進(jìn)行了調(diào)查,從上述三個(gè)層面探究了影響和平隊(duì)志愿者適應(yīng)過(guò)程的因素以及這些因素之間的相互關(guān)聯(lián)。情感層面:在文化遷移過(guò)程中,志愿者經(jīng)歷了不同程度的文化休克,產(chǎn)生了不同程度的心理壓力。良好的動(dòng)機(jī),及時(shí)、多樣且有效的社會(huì)支持能很好地緩解志愿者在異質(zhì)文化中的心理適應(yīng)壓力,產(chǎn)生積極地適應(yīng)結(jié)果。行為層面:在新的文化環(huán)境中,學(xué)習(xí)和掌握必要的生存技能,比如語(yǔ)言,風(fēng)俗等,可以幫助...
