文化距離對(duì)中國與“一帶一路”沿線國家雙邊貿(mào)易往來的影響——基于1993-2015年跨國貿(mào)易數(shù)據(jù)的實(shí)證
[Abstract]:Cultural exchange and cooperation is an important aspect of "Belt and Road" strategy, while the influence of cultural distance on trade exchanges and its differences in countries along "Belt and Road" need to be deeply discussed. From the point of view of transaction cost, using the methods of Kogut and Singh to construct the measurement index of transnational cultural distance, and using the bilateral trade data between China and countries along "Belt and Road", The influence of cultural distance between China and countries along "Belt and Road" on bilateral trade relations from 1993 to 2015 is discussed empirically. The results show that the cultural distance between China and the countries along the "Belt and Road" has a significant negative impact on bilateral trade flows for a long time, and this effect has a tendency to strengthen gradually during the sample period. That is, the smaller the cultural distance between the trading countries along the route and China, the more frequent bilateral trade. The empirical results of the subdimension of cultural distance further prove the robustness of the conclusions. Estimates by subdivision of regions and income groups show that in Europe, the negative impact of cultural distance on bilateral trade flows is more pronounced in sub-samples of low- and middle-income countries, which means that China and Europe, There is still much room for improvement in cultural integration and inclusiveness in countries along low-and middle-income lines. In view of this, in the process of promoting the "Belt and Road" initiative, efforts should be made to optimize the "soft environment", to gradually narrow the cultural distance between China and the countries along the "Belt and Road", and to adhere to culture first. By strengthening cultural exchanges and cooperation, we can resolve and eliminate the barriers and barriers to trade, and steadily promote the expansion of trade scale and the optimization of trade structure between China and the countries along the "Belt and Road".
