【摘要】：雖然不少中西學(xué)者對魯布魯克使團(tuán)訪華做過研究,但其關(guān)注點多集中于使團(tuán)對早期中西方交流的文化與歷史意義。使團(tuán)訪華過程中一個經(jīng)常被忽視的重要因素是譯員在早期東西方交往中所扮演的角色。本文據(jù)《魯布魯克東行紀(jì)》中涉及譯者的相關(guān)記錄,梳理了在早期跨文化溝通中由于翻譯問題而導(dǎo)致的重重困難。同時本文還通過比較兩個背景不同、水平不同的譯者表現(xiàn)及所導(dǎo)致之溝通效果差異,試圖指出合格的譯者應(yīng)具備的基本條件無論在古今中外都是相似的。
[Abstract]:Although many Chinese and Western scholars have done research on Rubrooke's visit to China, However, most of its concerns focus on the cultural and historical significance of the mission to the early exchanges between China and the West. An important factor often neglected during the mission's visit to China is the role played by interpreters in the early exchanges between the East and the West. The relevant records of translators in Lu Bruke East. This paper combs the difficulties caused by translation problems in the early cross-cultural communication. At the same time, by comparing the two different backgrounds, different levels of translator performance and the resulting communication effects are also compared. This paper tries to point out that the basic conditions of qualified translators are similar at all times and at all times.
