【摘要】：在日本,因開戰(zhàn)當時就對戰(zhàn)爭目的缺乏統(tǒng)一認識,加之戰(zhàn)后美國實施的占領政策以及之后日本國內(nèi)近現(xiàn)代史相關認識的"政治化"等一系列因素的影響,對于第二次世界大戰(zhàn)期間日本所發(fā)動的對外戰(zhàn)爭有著多種稱謂,并且戰(zhàn)爭稱謂問題至今仍被熱烈討論。因此,現(xiàn)有的稱謂基本上均帶有一定的意識形態(tài)色彩,而官方則一直在使用"之前的大戰(zhàn)"一詞。各種稱謂中,"太平洋戰(zhàn)爭""大東亞戰(zhàn)爭""亞洲·太平洋戰(zhàn)爭"均能表示1941年12月8日以后展開的戰(zhàn)爭,而從所涉地域來看,"大東亞戰(zhàn)爭""亞洲·太平洋戰(zhàn)爭"則明確了日本當時戰(zhàn)場之所在,另外"太平洋戰(zhàn)爭"一詞則更讓人聯(lián)想到發(fā)生于太平洋上的日美戰(zhàn)爭。至于國際通用且價值中立的"第二次世界大戰(zhàn)",從日本的視角出發(fā)對其自身參與的戰(zhàn)爭進行敘述時,此一稱謂無論從時間、地域還是"感覺"上來看都不甚適合。因此,現(xiàn)今"太平洋戰(zhàn)爭"一語雖被廣泛使用,但展望未來,在選擇能將1941年12月8日以后的中國戰(zhàn)區(qū)亦納入其中的恰當稱謂時,是否可以考慮使用抹消其意識形態(tài)色彩的"大東亞戰(zhàn)爭"或"亞洲·太平洋戰(zhàn)爭"這兩個用語。
