[Abstract]:Under the strong western experience and discourse system, some Chinese researchers and practitioners accept the conclusion that the multiparty system is superior to the one-party system.The most important reason is that democracy, like the market, needs competition, and a competitive multiparty system is better than a non-competitive one-party system.But is competition at the heart of democracy?Why must democracy be achieved through political parties?And why must competition take place between political parties?In what ways can a one-party system embody democracy?How does this democracy compare with multiparty democracy?These questions have not been well answered.The increasingly confident Chinese have long since gone to classic writers such as Man
