河州回族腳戶文化

【摘要】:本文從河州回族腳戶產(chǎn)生、發(fā)展的背景出發(fā),運用舉例、說明、比較的方法,圍繞腳戶的發(fā)展變遷歷程、腳戶的行路生活、腳戶的商業(yè)活動、腳戶的文化信仰,聯(lián)系西北的交通變遷、河州地區(qū)的商業(yè)特色、腳戶與其他民族之間交互融合、和衷共濟的密切關(guān)系,對河州回族腳戶這一特定的社會群體進行了全方位的描述和比較研究,以期挖掘出蘊含其中的深刻文化內(nèi)涵。 首先,本文介紹了河州回族腳戶及其生長的環(huán)境!澳_戶”是我國西北地區(qū)舊時的一個行當,“腳戶”一詞有廣義和狹義之分:廣義的“腳戶”泛指那些以馱隊的形式從事物資販運的人,狹義的“腳戶”則專指馱隊中從事各種體力勞動的普通人員。河州,即今臨夏回族自治州,是一個多民族共同居住的地區(qū)。其中,又以回族的數(shù)量為最多,是西北地區(qū)回族的中心聚居地之一。河州人素來,“善商賈”。隨著該地區(qū)經(jīng)濟尤其是商業(yè)的發(fā)展,對流通領(lǐng)域的需要也日益提高。然而河州四面環(huán)山,道路崎嶇,交通甚為不便。當?shù)氐呢浳镞\輸,在現(xiàn)代化的交通工具沒有普及的年代,受當時技術(shù)條件的制約,主要依靠畜力馱運。以此為契機,運輸行業(yè)的“腳戶”應(yīng)時而生,趕馬販運成為當?shù)鼐用裰\生的手段之一。他們有的幾家聯(lián)合攬貨馱運,有的一家一戶就能組成大幫馱運隊,南來北往,運送物資。在這一歷史進程中,,馱隊作為當時當?shù)刂匾倪\輸工具,在經(jīng)濟文化交流過程中起到了至關(guān)重要的作用。而駕馭指揮馱隊往來于戈壁荒漠、崇山峻嶺的腳戶們同樣功不可沒。 其次,本文通過田野調(diào)查,對河州回族腳戶的生活進行了重現(xiàn)。腳戶們的生活辛苦而富有智慧,在長期的販運生活中,他們積累了很多寶貴的經(jīng)驗,形成了許多獨特文化。最為突出的是腳戶在長途販運過程中,對馱隊的組織、養(yǎng)護等方面的制度習俗,這是腳戶文化中最主要的構(gòu)成部分。腳戶特殊的職業(yè)、身份與特殊的生活方式?jīng)Q定其飲食、服飾也別具特色。另外,腳戶常年生活在外,流動的生活方式,使他們的家庭生活很不穩(wěn)定,而野外生活的艱辛和單調(diào)又磨練出他們苦中作樂的種種生活態(tài)度。腳戶的感情生活很豐富,花兒是他們抒發(fā)
