This method is also appropriate for general hydrorower stations.

The coast near Jianggang is located in Dongtai County, Jiangsu Province. Its offshore is just in the center of the well-known North Jiangsu Submarine Sand Ridge Field where two tidal wave systems converge. This paper chiefly discusses the influence of submarine ridges on the development of Jianggang coastal zone. In 1974, a great proxigean spring tide caused extremely high water in the coastal zone. The enhanced tidal action cut Jiangjiasha, a large submarine ridge, into two parts, and some main tidal channels...

The coast near Jianggang is located in Dongtai County, Jiangsu Province. Its offshore is just in the center of the well-known North Jiangsu Submarine Sand Ridge Field where two tidal wave systems converge. This paper chiefly discusses the influence of submarine ridges on the development of Jianggang coastal zone. In 1974, a great proxigean spring tide caused extremely high water in the coastal zone. The enhanced tidal action cut Jiangjiasha, a large submarine ridge, into two parts, and some main tidal channels were realigned. Subsequently, a series of events took place one after another. For example, the high water level in second-order channels was raized; tidal flat around Jianggang area was seriously eroded; some new channels were formed on tidal flat of offshore banks; some ridges merged and others cut apart, and etc. These facts show that an abnormal change of tidal action, such as the extreme high water under optimum astronomical tide-producing condition and/or large storm, can cause notable changes of the main pattern of tidal channels, at least, in some localities. These changes lead to both increase and decrease of tidal strength in the channels. Consequently, the neighbouring flats must also be adjusted morphologically ot fit the above changes. This adjustment carries out in a large area and over a long period of time Events like the above are important not only in determining the dynamics of the coast, but also in the evolution of the submarine sand ridge field.

江蘇海岸的一大特點(diǎn)是岸外內(nèi)陸架上有一大片水下沙脊群。由于東海前進(jìn)潮波系統(tǒng)和廢黃河口外旋轉(zhuǎn)潮波系統(tǒng)的西翼在弶港岸外相遇,故使東臺縣沿海一帶成為這片沙脊的輻射中心區(qū)。 1974年以來,弶港地區(qū)海岸動態(tài)發(fā)生強(qiáng)烈變化。通過現(xiàn)場和衛(wèi)片分析發(fā)現(xiàn),1974年新發(fā)育成的大型潮汐水道把蔣家沙隔為兩半,與上述變化有因果關(guān)系。而1974年特大天文大潮是造成蔣家沙被分為兩半的主要因素。這次突變事件在條子泥西側(cè)所帶來的后果如下:1)王家槽西段潮位增高,涌潮加強(qiáng);2)王家槽向西發(fā)展曲流超過了過去的最西界;3)王家槽東段淤淺,使條子泥和蔣家沙在該處并灘;4)條子泥南坡形成了新的潮汐支道;5)死生港大輻度西擺,嚴(yán)重沖刷西側(cè)岸灘;6)川港淤積加速。

Until now, the traditional method of bottom and slope protection is still being used to treat the declination of navigation canal, but it is not effective in the prevention of the destruction due to the hydrodynamic force generated by steamboat movement. Based on the data of the hydrodynamic phenomena, sediment movement and historical investigation obtained along the Nantong-Yangzhou Canal, the process of development and evolution of navigation canal has been studied. Until now, the traditional method of bottom and slope protection is still being used to treat the declination of navigation canal, but it is not effective in the prevention of the destruction due to the hydrodynamic force generated by steamboat movement. Based on the data of the hydrodynamic phenomena, sediment movement and historical investigation obtained along the Nantong-Yangzhou Canal, the process of development and evolution of navigation canal has been studied. Some efforts have been tried to establish the pattern of evolution of navigation canal network with locks and weirs on plain due to the hydrodynamic force generated by steamboat movement and the way of regulation of navigation canal of this kind.

現(xiàn)代船舶水動力不斷侵蝕通航運(yùn)河水道邊界,引起運(yùn)河航道的日益惡化萎縮,水運(yùn)界雖然普遍采取了傳統(tǒng)的護(hù)底與護(hù)岸的方法作為對策,但至今國際上尚未能夠防治這類水動力的破壞作用。本文在江蘇通揚(yáng)運(yùn)河航道實(shí)測船舶水動力、泥沙運(yùn)動以及歷次航道普查等資料的基礎(chǔ)上,研究這類運(yùn)河航道在自然界中的發(fā)育過程,并試圖建立在現(xiàn)代船舶水動力條件下平原水網(wǎng)區(qū)閘化后通航運(yùn)河的一套演變模式,從而探索因勢利導(dǎo)的整治途徑。
