非線性的層狀手性波導(dǎo)中表面等離激元的特性研究

【摘要】:近些年來(lái),隨著電子器件向更加復(fù)雜化和高度集成化的發(fā)展,電子學(xué)似乎遇到了一個(gè)由于尺寸限制引起的瓶頸。器件集成轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)楣庾蛹沙蔀榱酥匾厔?shì)。為了達(dá)到光子線路的小型化和高度集成,人們進(jìn)行了許多嘗試并最終找到了一個(gè)利用表面等離激元(SPPs)的解決方案。SPPs可以提供一些迷人的效應(yīng),諸如場(chǎng)局域化效應(yīng),即表面附近的場(chǎng)被局限在一個(gè)很小的區(qū)域里,離開(kāi)界面向外場(chǎng)是指數(shù)衰減的,它可以突破光的衍射極限。同時(shí)SPPs能夠增強(qiáng)表面的非線性效應(yīng)。目前許多SPPs方面的研究工作主要基于由金屬和非手性介質(zhì)構(gòu)成的界面,而在本文中我們的討論將限制在由金屬與手性介質(zhì)形成的Kerr非線性界面的情況。本文對(duì)金屬介電手性介質(zhì)構(gòu)成的(MC型)單一界面的SPPs非線性特性進(jìn)行研究。基于麥克斯韋方程、本構(gòu)關(guān)系,電磁場(chǎng)間的關(guān)系通過(guò)F場(chǎng)方法被建立了起來(lái),得到了MC型波導(dǎo)以及三明治型的波導(dǎo)(MCM型和CMC型)的非線性色散關(guān)系;給出了相應(yīng)情況的等分量與不等分量情況下電磁場(chǎng)分布,分析了其中場(chǎng)的振蕩頻率與非線性系數(shù)的關(guān)系,估計(jì)了發(fā)生波動(dòng)的臨界點(diǎn)。畫出了MC結(jié)構(gòu)和MCM結(jié)構(gòu)中的色散關(guān)系曲線,揭示了非線性和手性對(duì)色散關(guān)系的影響。用Stokes參量描述了場(chǎng)的偏振狀態(tài)。通過(guò)能量分布圖像的對(duì)比展示了界面附近手性介質(zhì)內(nèi)的非線性系數(shù)與手性的相互作用。給出了非線性和手性對(duì)SPPs傳播距離的影響。
[Abstract]:In recent years, with the development of electronic devices to become more complex and highly integrated, electronics seems to meet a bottleneck caused by size constraints.The conversion of device integration to photon integration has become an important trend.In order to achieve the miniaturization and high integration of photonic circuits, many attempts have been made and finally a solution using surface isophosphors SPPs.SPPs can provide some fascinating effects, such as field localization effects.In other words, the field near the surface is confined to a very small region, and it attenuates exponentially from the interface to the external field, which can break through the diffraction limit of light.At the same time, SPPs can enhance the nonlinear effect of the surface.At present, many researches on SPPs are mainly based on the interface composed of metal and non-chiral media. In this paper, we will limit our discussion to the case of Kerr nonlinear interface formed by metal and chiral medium.In this paper, the SPPs nonlinearity of a single interface composed of a metal dielectric chiral medium is investigated.Based on Maxwell equation, constitutive relation and electromagnetic field, the nonlinear dispersion relations of MC waveguide, sandwich waveguide MCM and CMC type are obtained by F field method.The distribution of electromagnetic field in the case of equal and unequal components is given. The relation between the oscillation frequency of the field and the nonlinear coefficient is analyzed, and the critical point of the wave is estimated.The dispersion relation curves of MC and MCM structures are drawn, and the influence of nonlinearity and chirality on the dispersion relationship is revealed.The polarization state of the field is described by Stokes parameter.The comparison of energy distribution images shows the interaction between the nonlinear coefficient and chirality in chiral media near the interface.The effects of nonlinearity and chirality on the propagation distance of SPPs are given.
