【摘要】：弦論作為最有希望的大統(tǒng)一理論,得到了包括霍金在內(nèi)的一代物理學(xué)家的推崇。但是,就目前看來,弦論既沒有得到實驗的驗證,也沒有堅實的經(jīng)驗基礎(chǔ)。弦理論的大廈完全是用概念和數(shù)學(xué)推演所構(gòu)建的,于是弦論的"檢驗難題"出現(xiàn)了。大量的科學(xué)家就此質(zhì)疑弦論的科學(xué)地位,而弦論的支持者則試圖"改變規(guī)則",回避經(jīng)驗檢驗,訴諸于美學(xué)等形而上學(xué)原則。文章分析了弦論中"檢驗難題"出現(xiàn)的背景及原因,接著對檢驗一詞的含義進(jìn)行了更加深入的分析,最后對科學(xué)理論的檢驗給出了一般化的描述。
[Abstract]:String theory, as the most promising grand unified theory, has been praised by a generation of physicists, including Hawking. However, at present, string theory is neither verified by experiments nor based on solid experience. The edifice of string theory is constructed entirely from concept and mathematics, so the "test problem" of string theory appears. A large number of scientists question the scientific status of string theory, while proponents of string theory try to "change the rules", avoid empirical testing, and resort to metaphysical principles such as aesthetics. This paper analyzes the background and reason of "test difficult problem" in string theory, then makes a deeper analysis of the meaning of the word "test", and finally gives a general description of the test of scientific theory.
