基于開槽型DBR光纖激光器拍頻的折射率探測

【摘要】:提出一種包層開槽型分布布拉格反射光纖激光器,用于光纖激光折射率探測.該激光器以單縱模雙偏振分布布拉格反射光纖激光器為核心傳感單元,以結(jié)構(gòu)雙折射產(chǎn)生的拍頻信號為傳感信號對折射率進(jìn)行探測.實(shí)驗(yàn)中應(yīng)用頻率編碼,靈敏度高且易于解調(diào).利用二氧化碳激光器的熱效應(yīng)對分布布拉格反射光纖激光器的諧振腔加工開槽,通過控制其掃描范圍和功率來制備不同寬度和深度的開槽結(jié)構(gòu),并研究了不同結(jié)構(gòu)參量對靈敏度特性的影響.實(shí)驗(yàn)測得最優(yōu)靈敏度達(dá)-240 MHz/RI-unit.此外,還對該結(jié)構(gòu)的溫度傳感特性做了測試,相較于未刻槽結(jié)構(gòu),溫度靈敏度提高了21%,達(dá)1.73 MHz/℃.該裝置結(jié)構(gòu)緊湊、穩(wěn)定性高、制備簡單且成本低廉,可用于進(jìn)一步研究分布布拉格反射光纖激光器的傳感和復(fù)用特性.
[Abstract]:A laminated slotted distributed Bragg reflective fiber laser is proposed to detect refractive index of fiber laser. The single longitudinal mode dual polarization distributed Bragg reflective fiber laser is used as the core sensing unit and the beat frequency signal generated by structural birefringence is used as the sensing signal to detect the refractive index. Frequency coding is used in the experiment, which has high sensitivity and is easy to demodulate. The cavity of distributed Bragg reflection fiber laser is grooved by the thermal effect of carbon dioxide laser. The slotted structure with different width and depth is fabricated by controlling the scanning range and power of the cavity. The influence of different structural parameters on the sensitivity is also studied. The optimal sensitivity is -240 MHz / RI-unit.
