【摘要】：主要研究超冷銫Rydberg原子階梯型三能級系統(tǒng)的Autler-Townes(A-T)分裂.銫原子基態(tài)6S_(1/2)、第一激發(fā)態(tài)6P_(3/2)和Rydberg態(tài)形成階梯型三能級系統(tǒng),強(qiáng)耦合光共振作用于6P_(3/2)(F′=5)→34D_(5/2)的躍遷,探測光由偏振光譜鎖定在6S_(1/2)(F=4)→6P_(3/2)(F′=5)的躍遷,并由雙通的聲光調(diào)制器在其共振躍遷附近掃描,形成的Rydberg原子A-T分裂譜由單光子計(jì)數(shù)器探測.A-T光譜的雙峰間距與耦合光的拉比頻率成正比,實(shí)驗(yàn)結(jié)果與理論計(jì)算在耦合光拉比頻率Ω_c2π×9 MHz時(shí)符合得很好,在拉比頻率Ω_c2π×9 MHz時(shí),測量的A-T分裂比理論計(jì)算值小13%.產(chǎn)生偏差的主要原因是由于較大的耦合光拉比頻率Ω_c增加了激發(fā)的Rydberg原子數(shù),Rydberg原子間的相互作用產(chǎn)生了較大的退相干率所致.
[Abstract]:We mainly study the Autler-Townes (A-T) splitting of the supercooled cesium Rydberg atom staircase three level system. The ground state 6S_ (1/2), the first excited state 6P_ (3/2) and the Rydberg state form a ladder type three level system. The strong coupling optical resonance acts on the transition of 6P_ (3/2) (F '=5), and the polarization spectrum is locked in the polarization spectrum. The transition of (F '=5) is scanned by a two pass acousto-optic modulator near its resonant transition, and the Rydberg atom A-T splitting spectrum of the Rydberg atom is formed by the single photon counter to detect the.A-T spectrum of the.A-T spectrum, which is proportional to the Rabi frequency of the coupled light. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical calculation when the coupling light pull ratio frequency omega _c2 PI x 9 MHz is in good agreement with the Rabi frequency. When the rate of Omega _c2 PI x 9 MHz, the main reason for the deviation of the measured A-T splitting than the theoretical calculated value 13%. is that the larger coupling optical Rabi frequency omega _c increases the number of the excited Rydberg atoms, and the interaction between the Rydberg atoms produces a larger decoherence rate.
