一種提高圖像對(duì)比度和視覺(jué)質(zhì)量的新型區(qū)域背光算法

【摘要】:為盡可能高地提高液晶顯示器(LCD)的動(dòng)態(tài)范圍以實(shí)現(xiàn)高動(dòng)態(tài)范圍顯示,提出了一種基于動(dòng)態(tài)閾值背光亮度提取和液晶像素補(bǔ)償兩步法的區(qū)域背光算法,以提高液晶顯示器背光模組和液晶面板的動(dòng)態(tài)范圍,從而使調(diào)光后圖像的對(duì)比度和視覺(jué)質(zhì)量都得到增強(qiáng).仿真結(jié)果表明,用該算法區(qū)域調(diào)光后圖像的對(duì)比度平均提高了113.60%.此外,用自主研發(fā)的直下式白光LED分區(qū)背光液晶顯示樣機(jī)通過(guò)顯示具體圖像對(duì)所提出算法進(jìn)行性能測(cè)試,顯示結(jié)果表明區(qū)域調(diào)光后圖像的層次和色彩得到了增強(qiáng)且提高了對(duì)比度,證明了所提出算法能有效提高液晶顯示器的對(duì)比度并改善顯示畫(huà)質(zhì).
[Abstract]:In order to improve the dynamic range of liquid crystal display (LCD) as high as possible to achieve high dynamic range display, a region backlight algorithm based on dynamic threshold backlight extraction and LCD pixel compensation is proposed. In order to improve the dynamic range of LCD backlight module and LCD panel, the contrast and visual quality of dimmer image can be enhanced. The simulation results show that the contrast of the image is increased by 113.60. In addition, the performance of the proposed algorithm is tested by displaying the specific images of the backlight liquid crystal display prototype with a direct-down white LED partition developed by ourselves. The display results show that the level and color of the image are enhanced and the contrast is improved after the region dimming. It is proved that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the contrast of liquid crystal display and improve the display quality.
