基于分子蒸餾原理的高純銫制備研究

【摘要】:為了進一步提高原子鐘用金屬銫的純度,以99.5%的精銫為原料,采用分子蒸餾的方法提純金屬銫。通過實驗研究了蒸餾溫度、刮膜器轉(zhuǎn)速、進料速率對金屬銫提純效果的影響,得到最佳的實驗條件如下:蒸餾溫度控制在490~510 K之間,刮膜器轉(zhuǎn)速設(shè)定在180~210 r/min之間,進料速率在3~5 g/min之間。在上述條件下進行實驗,結(jié)果表明:蒸餾產(chǎn)品中所有的雜質(zhì)含量均有顯著下降,其中鉀(K)的含量從690×10~(-6)下降至10~6×10~(-6),銣(Rb)的含量從840×10~(-6)下降至123×10~(-6),該方法能夠制得純度為99.95%的高純金屬銫,滿足了銫原子鐘對金屬銫原料的要求。此外,與普通的真空蒸餾相比,分子蒸餾的蒸餾溫度更低,蒸餾時間更短。
