基于FPGA的車牌識(shí)別中值濾波算法的研究與實(shí)現(xiàn)

【摘要】:隨著我國(guó)經(jīng)濟(jì)的高速發(fā)展,機(jī)動(dòng)車的數(shù)量在不斷的增加,相應(yīng)的加強(qiáng)交通管理也被提到了高度重視的地位上針對(duì)此現(xiàn)象,智能交通系統(tǒng)相繼產(chǎn)生,作為智能交通系統(tǒng)中重要組成部分的車牌識(shí)別也越來(lái)越成為研究關(guān)注的重點(diǎn) 現(xiàn)如今網(wǎng)絡(luò)技術(shù)和多媒體技術(shù)已經(jīng)普遍覆蓋,數(shù)字圖像被廣泛地應(yīng)用到生產(chǎn)生活的各個(gè)領(lǐng)域,而數(shù)字圖像處理技術(shù)也成為了信息科學(xué)技術(shù)中近幾十年來(lái)發(fā)展最為迅速的學(xué)科之一本文即是對(duì)車牌識(shí)別數(shù)字圖像中值濾波算法的研究 為了便于從車牌數(shù)字圖像中獲取更多的信息和改善圖像的質(zhì)量,只是依靠軟件實(shí)現(xiàn)圖像的處理已經(jīng)無(wú)法滿足實(shí)時(shí)高效等需求,同時(shí),伴隨著微電子技術(shù)的飛速發(fā)展,,也使基于各種硬件平臺(tái)的數(shù)字圖像處理更具有了優(yōu)勢(shì)車牌識(shí)別數(shù)字圖像處理的特點(diǎn)是數(shù)據(jù)量大處理非常耗時(shí),本文做了基于FPGA上用硬件描述語(yǔ)言來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)圖像處理算法的研究首先介紹了數(shù)字圖像處理的相關(guān)知識(shí)及算法,描述了直方圖均衡化卷積濾波邊緣檢測(cè)等基本原理,并應(yīng)用Matlab實(shí)現(xiàn)了中值濾波算法的仿真然后,對(duì)FPGA原理和Quartus開(kāi)發(fā)平臺(tái)做了詳細(xì)的介紹最后,選用了快速中值濾波算法,應(yīng)用FPGA設(shè)計(jì)了一個(gè)三點(diǎn)比較器,運(yùn)用verilog HDL硬件描述語(yǔ)言實(shí)現(xiàn)了中值濾波在FPGA上的邏輯設(shè)計(jì)和基本算法 本文對(duì)基于FPGA的數(shù)字圖像中值濾波算法做出了詳細(xì)的原理描述程序設(shè)計(jì)和時(shí)序仿真,實(shí)現(xiàn)了用硬件描述語(yǔ)言處理數(shù)字圖像的研究,對(duì)基于FPGA的車牌識(shí)別數(shù)字圖像處理系統(tǒng)的研究與實(shí)現(xiàn)起到了積極的作用
[Abstract]:With the rapid development of China's economy, the number of motor vehicles is increasing, and the corresponding strengthening of traffic management has also been raised to the status of high attention to this phenomenon, intelligent transportation systems have emerged one after another. As an important part of its, license plate recognition has become the focus of research. Nowadays, network technology and multimedia technology have been widely covered, and digital images have been widely used in various fields of production and life. Digital image processing technology has become one of the most rapidly developing subjects in information science and technology in recent decades. In this paper, the median filtering algorithm of license plate recognition digital image is studied. In order to obtain more information from the license plate digital image and improve the image quality, it can not meet the needs of real-time and efficient image processing only by software. At the same time, with the rapid development of microelectronics technology, It also makes digital image processing based on various hardware platforms more advantageous for license plate recognition. The characteristic of digital image processing is that the large amount of data processing is very time-consuming. In this paper, the hardware description language is used to realize the image processing algorithm based on FPGA. Firstly, the related knowledge and algorithm of digital image processing are introduced, and the basic principles of histogram equalization convolution filtering edge detection are described. Then, the principle of FPGA and the development platform of Quartus are introduced in detail. Finally, the fast median filter algorithm is selected and a three-point comparator is designed with FPGA. The logic design and basic algorithm of median filter on FPGA are realized by using verilog HDL hardware description language. In this paper, the principle description program design and timing simulation of digital image median filter algorithm based on FPGA are made, and the research of digital image processing using hardware description language is realized. It plays a positive role in the research and implementation of the digital image processing system of license plate recognition based on FPGA.
