晚清譯著《化學(xué)鑒原》的翻譯與傳播

【摘要】:《化學(xué)鑒原》由徐壽和傅蘭雅編譯而成,首次將西方無(wú)機(jī)化學(xué)知識(shí)系統(tǒng)地引進(jìn)中國(guó),是中國(guó)近代化學(xué)譯著中最具代表性的著作之一,也是研究我國(guó)近代化學(xué)史的重要文獻(xiàn),在近代化學(xué)教育、化學(xué)名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)的命名、化學(xué)教科書(shū)的編寫(xiě)等方面有重要影響。本文采用文獻(xiàn)分析法和對(duì)比分析法等研究方法,對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》及其原本內(nèi)容進(jìn)行分析和研究,并結(jié)合《化學(xué)鑒原》與同時(shí)期化學(xué)譯著的對(duì)比分析,探討了《化學(xué)鑒原》在晚清時(shí)期的傳播和影響,進(jìn)一步深化了對(duì)中國(guó)化學(xué)近代化的認(rèn)識(shí),包括對(duì)同期化學(xué)譯著內(nèi)容和名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)使用的影響、對(duì)近代化學(xué)學(xué)科構(gòu)建及化學(xué)教育的影響、對(duì)晚清化學(xué)工業(yè)初步發(fā)展和在化學(xué)名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)建立過(guò)程中的作用。文章包括七個(gè)部分。引言部分詳細(xì)介紹了選題的依據(jù)和意義,并對(duì)現(xiàn)有的相關(guān)研究進(jìn)行總結(jié)概括,包括對(duì)晚清科學(xué)譯著的研究和對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》的相關(guān)研究,找出現(xiàn)有研究中的薄弱環(huán)節(jié),為文章研究建立了突破點(diǎn)和起點(diǎn)。此外,這一部分也交代了文章的研究方法和創(chuàng)新之處。第一章對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的概述,為后文的研究奠定了基礎(chǔ)。本章共分為兩節(jié)。第一節(jié)是對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》原著者和譯著者的介紹。第二節(jié)是對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》翻譯傳播的背景環(huán)境的研究和介紹。第二章從《化學(xué)鑒原》全本的內(nèi)容入手,系統(tǒng)分析了《化學(xué)鑒原》的內(nèi)容分布和組成,由此過(guò)渡到第三章翻譯方法的研究。本章共分為四節(jié)。第一節(jié)是對(duì)書(shū)中無(wú)機(jī)化學(xué)基本原理的探討。第二節(jié)是對(duì)非金屬元素知識(shí)的介紹。第三節(jié)是對(duì)金屬元素知識(shí)的介紹。第四節(jié)是對(duì)化學(xué)儀器的介紹。第三章在對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》全本內(nèi)容進(jìn)行認(rèn)真分析和研究的基礎(chǔ)上,探討了徐壽和傅蘭雅翻譯《化學(xué)鑒原》的方法。本章共分為兩節(jié)。第一節(jié)中將《化學(xué)鑒原》與原文《韋爾斯化學(xué)原理及應(yīng)用》的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了比較,研究了徐壽和傅蘭雅在進(jìn)行文本翻譯時(shí)對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》內(nèi)容的選擇和刪減。第二節(jié)具體研究了書(shū)中名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)的翻譯,包括名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)的總體翻譯方法、化學(xué)元素的命名和化合物的命名。第四章分別從出版情況和傳播途徑入手,分析和探究了《化學(xué)鑒原》在晚清時(shí)期的傳播情況。本章共分為四節(jié),分別對(duì)傳播主體、傳播受眾、傳播版本和書(shū)籍去向四方面進(jìn)行分析。第五章對(duì)《化學(xué)鑒原》的歷史影響進(jìn)行了探究,系統(tǒng)論述了《化學(xué)鑒原》對(duì)各個(gè)層面的影響和作用。本章共分為四節(jié)。第一節(jié)是對(duì)同期化學(xué)譯著內(nèi)容和名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)使用的影響。第二節(jié)是在化學(xué)名詞術(shù)語(yǔ)建立過(guò)程中的作用。第三節(jié)是對(duì)近代化學(xué)學(xué)科構(gòu)建及化學(xué)教育的影響。第四節(jié)是對(duì)晚清化學(xué)工業(yè)初步發(fā)展的影響。結(jié)語(yǔ)部分對(duì)全文內(nèi)容進(jìn)行了總結(jié)概括,深刻揭示了《化學(xué)鑒原》的翻譯和傳播帶來(lái)的深遠(yuǎn)影響。
[Abstract]:Compiled by Xu Shou and Fu Lanya, "Chemical connoisseur" is the first systematic introduction of western inorganic chemistry knowledge into China. It is one of the most representative works in the translation of modern Chinese chemistry, and is also an important document for studying the history of modern chemistry in China. In modern chemistry education, the naming of chemical terms, the compilation of chemistry textbooks and so on, this paper analyzes and studies the original contents of Chemical connotations by using the methods of literature analysis and comparative analysis. Based on the comparative analysis of chemical connoisseur and chemical translated works of the same period, this paper discusses the spread and influence of chemical connoisseur in the late Qing Dynasty, and further deepens the understanding of the modernization of chemistry in China. Including the influence on the contents of the simultaneous chemical translations and the use of noun terms, on the construction of modern chemistry disciplines and on the chemistry education, The paper consists of seven parts. The introduction introduces the basis and significance of the topic in detail, and summarizes the existing relevant studies. Including the research on the scientific translation of the late Qing Dynasty and the related studies on Chemical connoisseur, to find the weak links in the research, and to establish a breakthrough point and a starting point for the study of the article. This part also explains the research methods and innovations of the article. This chapter is divided into two sections. The first section is the introduction of the original and the translator. The second section is the research and introduction of the background environment of the translation and dissemination of chemical connoisseur. The second chapter starts with the contents of the whole edition of "Chemical connoisseur". The content distribution and composition of Chemical Identification are systematically analyzed. This chapter is divided into four sections. The first section is the discussion of the basic principles of inorganic chemistry in the book. The second section is the introduction of the knowledge of nonmetallic elements. The third section is the knowledge of metal elements. Section 4th is an introduction to chemical instruments. The third chapter is based on the careful analysis and study of the whole contents of chemical connoisseur. This chapter is divided into two sections. In the first section, the contents of Chemical Identification are compared with those of the original text < Chemical principles and applications of Wells]. This paper studies the selection and deletion of the contents of Chemical connoisseur by Xu Shou and Fu Lanya in the course of text translation. Section two studies the translation of noun terms in the book, including the overall translation of noun terms. Chapter 4th analyzes and probes into the spread of Chemical Identification in the late Qing Dynasty. The chapter is divided into four sections: the main body of communication and the audience of communication. Chapter 5th probes into the historical influence of the book, "the original of Chemical Identification", from four aspects: the spread of the edition and the direction of the book. This chapter is divided into four sections. The first section is the influence on the content of simultaneous chemical translation and the use of noun terms. The second section is the process of establishing chemical terminology. Section 4th is the influence on the initial development of chemical industry in the late Qing Dynasty. It deeply reveals the profound influence brought by the translation and dissemination of chemical connoisseur.
