1,3,5-三苯基苯晶體的溶液降溫法生長及其性能

【摘要】:以丙酮為溶劑,采用溶液降溫法生長1,3,5-三苯基苯(TPB)晶體。在40~45℃溫區(qū)下生長出尺寸為19 mm×15 mm×13 mm的透明塊狀晶體,生長速率約為3 mm/d。通過X射線衍射、光學(xué)顯微鏡觀察、熱分析、熒光光譜和脈沖形狀鑒別(PSD)測試對晶體進(jìn)行了表征。結(jié)果表明:降溫法生長的TPB晶體為正交晶系,空間群為Pna21;TPB單晶各向透明度高,沒有宏觀缺陷,但在各面上均存在生長花紋。TPB晶體的熔點(diǎn)為174℃,蒸發(fā)損失發(fā)生在283℃;TPB晶體在360 nm處具有相對尖銳和強(qiáng)的帶邊發(fā)射峰。TPB晶體總品質(zhì)因數(shù)(FOM)值為0.85,表明它具有優(yōu)異的中子/伽馬(n/γ)射線辨別能力。
