關(guān)于“范新林在清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院素描教學(xué)講座(錄音文字稿節(jié)錄)”漢譯英筆譯的實(shí)踐報(bào)告

【摘要】:縱觀當(dāng)今世界,各個(gè)國(guó)家之間在政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、文化等各個(gè)領(lǐng)域的交流互通越來越頻繁。因此翻譯工作也就在不同領(lǐng)域,以不同形式推動(dòng)著跨越國(guó)界的交流。筆者曾有幸參與了一個(gè)繪畫藝術(shù)方面交流的翻譯項(xiàng)目——“范新林教授在清華大學(xué)美術(shù)學(xué)院舉行的素描教學(xué)講座(錄音文字稿節(jié)錄)”的漢譯英筆譯項(xiàng)目。 本報(bào)告描述的是范新林教授系列素描教學(xué)講座的小型漢譯英項(xiàng)目,該講座文字整理稿收錄在廣西美術(shù)出版社即將推出的《范新林美術(shù)作品集》一書中。筆者的導(dǎo)師受出版社委托組織了一個(gè)小型團(tuán)隊(duì)完成此次筆譯項(xiàng)目,團(tuán)隊(duì)共有五人:筆者導(dǎo)師、美籍外教和三名學(xué)生譯員。筆者有幸加入其中擔(dān)任譯員,同時(shí)負(fù)責(zé)學(xué)生譯員小組成員之間的協(xié)調(diào)分工和進(jìn)度監(jiān)控,以及與初審的美籍外教溝通。在導(dǎo)師的指導(dǎo)下,三名學(xué)生譯員在11天的時(shí)間內(nèi)合作完成了該講座錄音文字整理稿(原文共計(jì)28,915字)的初譯,筆者負(fù)責(zé)其中10,273字。 在本報(bào)告中,筆者首先通過對(duì)原文語言特點(diǎn)和譯文功能的分析提出翻譯的基本目標(biāo),并根據(jù)此次小型筆譯項(xiàng)目的特點(diǎn)來進(jìn)行人員分工和設(shè)計(jì)流程。在翻譯過程中,筆者注重意義的引申和具體化、近義詞和冠詞的選用。通過對(duì)句群的拆分和整合以及主被動(dòng)的適當(dāng)轉(zhuǎn)換來確保譯文準(zhǔn)確、流暢。 本報(bào)告表明,譯者需要對(duì)跨語言、跨文化的交流活動(dòng)有全面的了解,重視譯前準(zhǔn)備和團(tuán)隊(duì)組織和配合,,并協(xié)調(diào)好翻譯的目的、客戶的需求、目標(biāo)讀者等多方面因素。此次筆譯項(xiàng)目的原文是現(xiàn)場(chǎng)講座的錄音整理文稿,希望本報(bào)告能在此類文本的翻譯處理和小型團(tuán)隊(duì)項(xiàng)目的運(yùn)作兩方面為日后的翻譯工作提供一些借鑒。
[Abstract]:Throughout the world, exchanges between countries in politics, economy, culture and other fields are becoming more and more frequent. Therefore, translation also promotes the communication across national boundaries in different fields and in different forms. The author had the honour to participate in a translation project for the exchange of painting arts-"Professor Fan Xinlin's sketch teaching lecture (excerpts from audio recordings)" in the Chinese-English translation project at the Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University. This report describes the small Chinese-English translation project of Professor Fan Xinlin's series of sketch teaching lectures, which is included in the forthcoming collection of paintings by Guangxi Fine Arts Publishing House. My tutor was commissioned by the publishing house to organize a small team to complete the translation project. The team consisted of five: my tutor, American foreign teacher and three student interpreters. The author is fortunate to join as an interpreter and is responsible for coordinating the division of labor and monitoring progress among the members of the student interpreter group and communicating with the American foreign teacher in the first instance. Under the guidance of the tutor, the three student interpreters cooperated to complete the initial translation of the lecture in 11 days. The author was responsible for 10273 words. In this report, the author first puts forward the basic target of translation through the analysis of the features of the original language and the translation function, and carries on the division of labor and the design process according to the characteristics of the small translation project. In the process of translation, the author pays attention to the extension and concretization of meaning and the selection of synonyms and articles. The accurate and smooth translation is ensured by the split and integration of sentence groups and the proper conversion of the active and passive. This report shows that translators need to have a comprehensive understanding of cross-language and cross-cultural communication activities, attach importance to pre-translation preparation and team organization and coordination, and coordinate translation objectives, customer needs, target readers and other factors. The original text of this translation project is the audio recording of the on-site lecture. It is hoped that this report can provide some reference for the future translation work in terms of the translation processing of this kind of text and the operation of the small team project.
