【摘要】:本文以兩種不同版本的高中《世界歷史》教科書為例,分析說明美國中學歷史教材如何闡述中國歷史。一種是由麥克杜格爾·利特爾公司出版(英文原版),另一種是由麥克格勞希爾公司出版(中譯大象版)。論文主體部分按照美國教材中的線索,分成中國古代史、中國近代史、中國現(xiàn)代史三大時期,分別就每個時期中國的政治、經(jīng)濟和思想文化等方面的情況進行分析論述。 第一章介紹美國高中歷史教材中的中國古代史。論文分別從古代中國的政治、經(jīng)濟、思想文化和社會結構四個方面進行歸納和總結。教材中古代中國政治方面的特點主要是重視自然環(huán)境對中華文明的重大影響,古代中國朝代的頻繁更替;經(jīng)濟上重視中國古代的科學技術創(chuàng)造對中國社會的重大影響以及中西交流;思想文化上則注重中國哲學的起源以及中國儒家思想的發(fā)展;社會結構上重點關注的是中國階級結構的變化和古代中國婦女的地位。 第二章從政治、經(jīng)濟、思想文化和軍事外交這幾個角度分析美國高中世界史教材里的中國近代史部分。在政治上教材重點介紹了清政府的所作所為、重視中國人民的反抗斗爭、關注中國共產黨的發(fā)展,同時也簡單提及了中美關系的問題;在經(jīng)濟上教材認為此時的中國正處于轉型期;而在思想文化上教材重點關注的是中國人民思想觀念的變化以及文學領域的一些新動向;在軍事外交方面,教材認為這時候的中國就是被動挨打。 第三章介紹美國高中歷史教材里的中國現(xiàn)代史。論文也是從政治、經(jīng)濟和外交等方面來進行概括。在政治上美國教材中出現(xiàn)了兩個中國的表述,同時也注意到了中國民主政治的建設和發(fā)展;經(jīng)濟上教材考察了新中國所遇到的各種挫折以及后來鄧小平的改革開放對中國發(fā)展的巨大影響;外交上,教材著重講到了新中國成立后的中美關系,以及中國在對外關系方面的一些成就,如重視與周邊國家的關系、積極參與世貿組織活動等。
[Abstract]:Taking two different versions of high school history textbook as an example, this paper analyzes how the American middle school history textbook expounds Chinese history. One is published by Mcdougall Little and the other by McGrauhill. According to the clues in American textbooks, the main part of the thesis is divided into three periods: ancient Chinese history, modern Chinese history and modern Chinese history, and analyzes the political, economic, ideological and cultural situation of China in each period. The first chapter introduces the Chinese ancient history in American high school history textbooks. This paper summarizes the political, economic, ideological and cultural and social structure of ancient China. The characteristics of the ancient Chinese politics in the textbooks are the importance of the natural environment to the great influence of Chinese civilization and the frequent replacement of the ancient Chinese dynasties. In terms of economy, great importance is attached to the great influence of scientific and technological creation in ancient China on Chinese society and communication between China and the West, while ideological and cultural importance is attached to the origin of Chinese philosophy and the development of Chinese Confucianism. The social structure focuses on the change of Chinese class structure and the status of ancient Chinese women. The second chapter analyzes the Chinese modern history in American high school world history textbooks from the perspectives of politics, economy, ideology, culture and military diplomacy. In politics, the textbook focuses on the actions of the Qing government, attaches importance to the struggle of the Chinese people, pays attention to the development of the Communist Party of China, and also briefly mentions the issue of Sino-US relations. In economic terms, the textbook thinks that China is in transition at this time; in ideological and cultural terms, the textbook focuses on the changes in the Chinese people's ideas and ideas and some new trends in the field of literature; in the field of military diplomacy, The textbook holds that China is passively beaten at this time. The third chapter introduces the modern history of China in American high school history textbooks. The thesis is also summarized from the aspects of politics, economy and diplomacy. In politics, two Chinas were expressed in American textbooks, and the construction and development of democratic politics in China were also noticed. In economic terms, the textbook examines the various setbacks encountered in New China and the enormous impact of Deng Xiaoping's reform and opening up on China's development. In diplomatic terms, the textbook focuses on Sino-US relations after the founding of New China. And some achievements in foreign relations, such as attaching importance to the relations with neighboring countries, actively participating in WTO activities, etc.
