以羹探政:論古代食物與政治關(guān)系

【摘要】:羹迄今有一萬(wàn)余年歷史。食"肉羹"者的富貴豪侈與食"菜羹"者的鄙陋粗糙標(biāo)志出社會(huì)等級(jí)制度的嚴(yán)明,公侯顯貴的繁復(fù)飲食禮傳遞出政治等級(jí)規(guī)范的嚴(yán)苛,祭祀食物的等差規(guī)定顯示出人不論生死都無(wú)法逃離社會(huì)政治等級(jí)的藩籬;谖逗、人和、神和之調(diào)和功能的"和羹"屢次出現(xiàn)于君臣說(shuō)政中,通過(guò)對(duì)調(diào)羹對(duì)象、原料和原則的分析,揭示出君臣關(guān)系、人才選用、進(jìn)諫藝術(shù)和為政原則等治國(guó)之要,以求政治和諧、人民和順與國(guó)家祥和。代表美食的羹標(biāo)示生理、心理與審美利益,同時(shí)喻示食羹者的政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)與文化特權(quán),遂成為充當(dāng)調(diào)和政治矛盾的手段、鉆營(yíng)政治名利的手腕和挑起政治紛爭(zhēng)的導(dǎo)火索。羹表現(xiàn)出的政治等級(jí)性、政治調(diào)和性、政治利害性將食物與政治的曖昧關(guān)系變得明朗,這或許為中國(guó)古代食物與政治互相詮釋與演繹之結(jié)果。
