【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯報告。翻譯項目摘自Lonely Planet: Jamaica旅游手冊，由保羅·克拉默及布倫丹·塞恩斯伯里共同編著而成。該旅游手冊對牙買加國內(nèi)的旅游活動、住宿、就餐、飲食、娛樂、購物等方面加以詳細論述，旨在為前往牙買加的旅行者提供詳盡的信息。 旅游手冊翻譯是非文學(xué)翻譯的一種類別。非文學(xué)翻譯內(nèi)容廣泛，涉及政治、經(jīng)濟、法律、科技、文化等社會生活的各個領(lǐng)域，其首要標準是準確。因此，以該旅游手冊翻譯為例，對非文學(xué)翻譯中語言準確性進行相關(guān)翻譯研究，十分具有實用性、必要性及重要性。該翻譯項目的語言以介紹性為主，若譯文語言不準確，則會導(dǎo)致信息錯誤，誤導(dǎo)讀者使其旅行遭遇困難，原作者的寫作意圖無法實現(xiàn)等后果。 所譯部分為牙買加內(nèi)格里爾及西海岸的完整內(nèi)容，本報告首先介紹了該翻譯項目的基本情況，論述到該報告的研究意義；進而對非文學(xué)翻譯進行簡要介紹，結(jié)合譯文中出現(xiàn)的典型問題，深入反思，從譯者素養(yǎng)的角度出發(fā)，探討影響語言準確性的兩大因素——語言技能與工作態(tài)度。最后，本報告認為，譯者在從事非文學(xué)翻譯工作時，能夠靈活運用相關(guān)語言技能，在翻譯及修改階段樹立和保持責任意識，，對語言的準確性至關(guān)重要，希望能夠為非文學(xué)翻譯提供經(jīng)驗和教訓(xùn)。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation report.Translation project from Lonely Plan: Jamaica Travel Handbook, co-authored by Paul Kramer and Brendan Sainsbury.The guidebook is designed to provide detailed information on tourism activities, accommodation, dining, food, entertainment, shopping and so on in Jamaica.The translation of tourist manuals is a category of non-literary translation.Non-literary translation covers a wide range of fields of social life, such as politics, economy, law, science and technology, culture and so on.Therefore, it is very practical, necessary and important to study the veracity of language in non-literary translation by taking the translation of the tourism handbook as an example.The language of this translation project is mainly introductory. If the translation language is not accurate, it will lead to information errors, mislead the reader to travel difficult, the original author's writing intention can not be realized and so on.This report first introduces the basic situation of the translation project and discusses the significance of the study, and then gives a brief introduction to non-literary translation.Based on the typical problems in the translation, this paper discusses the two major factors affecting the accuracy of language, language skills and work attitude, from the perspective of the translator's literacy.Finally, the report holds that the ability of translators to apply relevant language skills flexibly and to establish and maintain a sense of responsibility in the translation and revision stages is crucial to the accuracy of the language.The author hopes to provide experience and lessons for non-literary translation.
