【摘要】：改革開放以來,中國取得了無數(shù)輝煌成就,在全球政治經(jīng)濟(jì)格局中的重要性日益凸顯。在這種背景下,越來越多的政府文件需要翻譯成英文。這篇論文基于奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論,采用紐馬克的交際翻譯策略及一系列相關(guān)翻譯技巧,對(duì)于《選官與治官》這一政府文件進(jìn)行漢英翻譯實(shí)踐,并在此基礎(chǔ)上對(duì)譯文進(jìn)行案例研究,分別從詞匯、句法和篇章三個(gè)方面,主要對(duì)縮略語、數(shù)字化標(biāo)語、政治術(shù)語、范疇詞、無主句、長句等翻譯難點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了詳細(xì)的案例分析。通過分析,本文得出如下結(jié)論：政府文件的特點(diǎn)決定功能對(duì)等可以作為一個(gè)很好的指導(dǎo)原則在政府文件的翻譯中發(fā)揮作用,并提出了一些有助于今后相關(guān)的政府文件翻譯的發(fā)現(xiàn)與建議。
[Abstract]:Since the reform and opening up, China has made numerous brilliant achievements, in the global political and economic structure of the importance of increasingly prominent. In this context. More and more government documents need to be translated into English. This paper is based on Nida's functional equivalence theory and adopts Newmark's communicative translation strategy and a series of related translation techniques. On the basis of the practice of Chinese-English translation of the government document "selecting official and ruling official", this paper makes a case study on the translation, mainly from three aspects of vocabulary, syntax and text, mainly on abbreviations and digital slogans. The translation difficulties of political terms, category words, no-subject sentences and long sentences are analyzed in detail. This paper draws the following conclusions: the characteristics of government documents determine that functional equivalence can play a role as a good guiding principle in the translation of government documents. Some suggestions are put forward to help the translation of government documents in the future.
