【摘要】:《蒙古秘史》是國(guó)際學(xué)術(shù)界公認(rèn)的世界文化遺產(chǎn),是蒙古族三大歷史著作之一,也是寶貴的蒙古族歷史、文化和文學(xué)遺產(chǎn)!睹晒琶厥贰吩瓡(shū)為蒙古族官修秘史,內(nèi)容涵蓋蒙古族政治、經(jīng)濟(jì)、軍事、宗教、語(yǔ)言、文學(xué)和文化等歷史資料,被譽(yù)為“蒙古族百科全書(shū)”。 按照學(xué)術(shù)界的推斷,截止到2014年,《蒙古秘史》已成書(shū)774年,主要記載了從遠(yuǎn)古時(shí)期到十三世紀(jì)四十年代,以成吉思汗“黃金家族”為中心的蒙古族官修歷史。由于畏吾體蒙古文原版本早軼,《蒙古秘史》流傳至今最早的版本是由明朝翰林院官修的漢字注音本。該版本又稱(chēng)《元朝秘史》,主體部分為以明朝漢語(yǔ)的漢字標(biāo)注的原蒙古文讀音注音(漢字注音),并附有漢語(yǔ)逐字翻譯(旁譯)和各章節(jié)概括大意(總譯)。 正是由于明朝傳世文本版本構(gòu)成的特殊性,《蒙古秘史》被譽(yù)為“千古奇書(shū)”,,具有很高的學(xué)術(shù)研究?jī)r(jià)值。國(guó)內(nèi)外對(duì)于《蒙古秘史》的學(xué)術(shù)研究多集中于歷史學(xué)、秘史學(xué)、文學(xué)和人類(lèi)學(xué)領(lǐng)域。在文學(xué)方面,研究多集中在古籍整理與蒙古語(yǔ)原文復(fù)原研究。從十九世紀(jì)中期至今,盡管世界各國(guó)不斷涌現(xiàn)出不同語(yǔ)言的譯本,《蒙古秘史》翻譯研究卻并未得到足夠的重視,研究成果寥寥無(wú)幾。鑒于文化翻譯研究在《蒙古秘史》翻譯研究中仍為學(xué)術(shù)空白,本文將以三個(gè)英文全譯本為研究對(duì)象,在文化翻譯方面對(duì)原文文本和譯本進(jìn)行深入的對(duì)比研究。 翻譯研究文化轉(zhuǎn)向的出現(xiàn),使得學(xué)術(shù)界對(duì)翻譯的研究不再局限于語(yǔ)言層面,而是將歷史、社會(huì)、文化等因素也納入了研究范圍。正如文化翻譯理論的研究代表安德烈·勒菲弗爾在其書(shū)中屢次提到,文本不是在真空中寫(xiě)成的,因此,翻譯也不可能在真空中進(jìn)行。除語(yǔ)言之外,翻譯還受到意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)形態(tài)及文化萬(wàn)象的制約,按照重要次序依次為:意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)形態(tài)、文化萬(wàn)象及語(yǔ)言。鑒于此,翻譯實(shí)際上是對(duì)原文的一種改寫(xiě),而《蒙古秘史》的翻譯也不例外。 本文以《蒙古秘史》柯立甫英譯本、奧儂英譯本修訂本和羅依果英譯本修訂本為研究對(duì)象,以文化翻譯研究,特別是安德烈·勒菲弗爾的“改寫(xiě)”理論作為理論框架,從意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)形態(tài)、文化萬(wàn)象和語(yǔ)言這四個(gè)層面對(duì)原文和譯文文本進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究,深入剖析譯入語(yǔ)的意識(shí)形態(tài)、詩(shī)學(xué)形態(tài)、文化萬(wàn)象和語(yǔ)言對(duì)《蒙古秘史》文化翻譯的影響,綜合分析與評(píng)價(jià)各譯本的優(yōu)劣得失,試圖推斷三個(gè)文本所采用的不同翻譯策略,并證明在《蒙古秘史》的三個(gè)英文全譯本中,譯者的意識(shí)形態(tài)在翻譯中占據(jù)統(tǒng)領(lǐng)全局的地位。希望本文能夠?yàn)橥苿?dòng)《蒙古秘史》文化翻譯研究盡一點(diǎn)微薄之力。
[Abstract]:The Secret History of Mongolia is a world cultural heritage recognized by the international academic circles. It is one of the three historical works of the Mongolian nationality and also a precious Mongolian history. Cultural and Literary Heritage. The original book is a secret history written by Mongolian officials, covering the history of Mongolian politics, economy, military, religion, language, literature and culture. Known as the "Mongolian encyclopedia". According to the academic inference, by 2014, the Secret History of Mongolia had been written 774 years, mainly recorded from ancient times to 1240s. Mongol officials with Genghis Khan's "Golden Family" as the center of history. The earliest version of the Secret History of Mongolia is the phonetic version of Chinese characters revised by the officials of the Ming Dynasty Hanlin Academy. This version is also called "the Secret History of the Yuan Dynasty". The main part is the original Mongolian phonetic phonetic phonetic pronunciation (Chinese phonetic pronunciation) marked by the Chinese characters of the Ming Dynasty, accompanied by Chinese verbatim translation (side-by-side translation) and the general outline of each chapter (general translation). It is precisely because of the particularity of the text version of the Ming Dynasty that the secret history of Mongolia is praised as the "ancient rare book". It is of great academic value. The academic research on the Secret History of Mongolia is mainly focused on the fields of history, mystical history, literature and anthropology at home and abroad. Most of the studies focus on the collection of ancient books and the restoration of Mongolian original texts. Since the middle of 19th century, there have been more and more translations in different languages all over the world. However, the translation study of the Secret History of Mongolia has not been paid enough attention to, and the research results are very few. In view of the fact that the study of cultural translation is still an academic blank in the translation study of the Secret History of Mongolia. In this paper, three English versions are taken as the object of study, and a comparative study of the original text and the translation is made in terms of cultural translation. With the emergence of cultural turn in translation studies, the academic research on translation is no longer confined to the linguistic level, but history and society. Culture and other factors have also been included in the study. As Andre Lefevere, the representative of cultural translation theory, has repeatedly mentioned in his book, texts are not written in a vacuum, so. In addition to language, translation is also restricted by ideology, poetics and cultural phenomena, in order of importance: ideology and poetics. Cultural Vientiane and language. In view of this, translation is actually a rewriting of the original text, and the translation of the Secret History of Mongolia is no exception. The present study focuses on the English translation of Ko Li-fu, the revised version of Onon's English version and the revised version of Royguo's English translation, and the study of cultural translation. In particular, Andre Lefevere's "rewriting" theory, as a theoretical framework, makes a contrastive study of the source text and the target text from the four levels of ideology, poetic form, cultural Vientiane and language. This paper analyzes deeply the influence of ideology, poetic form, cultural Vientiane and language on the cultural translation of the Secret History of Mongolia, and synthetically analyzes and evaluates the merits and demerits of each translation. This paper attempts to infer the different translation strategies used in the three texts and prove them in the three full English versions of the Secret History of Mongolia. The translator's ideology occupies a dominant position in translation. It is hoped that this paper can contribute a little bit to the study of cultural translation of the Secret History of Mongolia.
