環(huán)境信息披露、媒體關注與企業(yè)價值研究

【摘要】:隨著我國經(jīng)濟的快速發(fā)展,人民生活水平得到不斷的提升,但同時也帶來了許多環(huán)境問題。例如,在我國很多農(nóng)村地區(qū),居民生活飲用水受到不同程度的污染;很多大城市空氣質量不符合國家標準,霧霾天氣頻繁;酸雨的波及范圍日益擴大,給農(nóng)作物、森林和城市建筑等都帶來了重大損失,而且嚴重危及人們的健康生活。在這樣的大背景下,環(huán)境問題成為全社會關注的重點問題,企業(yè)的環(huán)境信息披露質量也日益受到各方關注。企業(yè)的環(huán)境信息披露行為有助于緩解企業(yè)與其利益相關者之間的信息不對稱,滿足利益相關者對于企業(yè)環(huán)境信息的需求,樹立良好的企業(yè)形象,從而有助于提升企業(yè)價值。媒體作為信息的傳播中介,在這一過程中扮演著重要的角色,媒體對于企業(yè)信息的高度關注和報道有助于緩解信息不對稱,減少信息的搜集和取得成本,增強企業(yè)的透明度,從而提升企業(yè)價值。本文首先在信息不對稱理論、利益相關者理論等的基礎上,從理論角度闡述環(huán)境信息披露質量與企業(yè)價值之間的內在關系及其作用機制,對兩者之間的關系進行理論研究。隨后,本文以重污染行業(yè)為研究對象,選取滬、深兩市A股重污染行業(yè)上市公司為研究樣本,對我國重污染行業(yè)企業(yè)環(huán)境信息披露與企業(yè)價值之間的相關性進行實證研究。同時引入媒體關注作為調節(jié)變量,實證檢驗媒體關注在環(huán)境信息披露與企業(yè)價值關系中的調節(jié)作用。實證研究結果表明:(1)環(huán)境信息披露質量與企業(yè)價值呈正相關關系,即企業(yè)環(huán)境信息披露質量越高企業(yè)價值越高;(2)媒體關注度高的企業(yè),環(huán)境信息披露質量與企業(yè)價值的正相關關系更顯著。最后,結合本文的研究成果,對企業(yè)管理者、新聞媒體以及政府部門提出相關政策建議。
[Abstract]:With the rapid economic development of our country, people's living standard has been continuously improved, but also brought a lot of environmental problems.For example, in many rural areas of our country, the drinking water of residents is polluted to varying degrees; air quality in many big cities does not meet the national standards, and haze weather is frequent; the spread of acid rain is increasingly extended to crops.Forests and urban buildings have brought great losses and seriously endangered people's healthy lives.In such a background, environmental issues have become the focus of attention of the whole society, and the quality of environmental information disclosure has been paid more and more attention by all parties.The behavior of environmental information disclosure helps to alleviate the asymmetry of information between the enterprise and its stakeholders, meet the needs of the stakeholders for the environmental information of the enterprise, set up a good corporate image, and thus help to enhance the value of the enterprise.Media, as the medium of information dissemination, plays an important role in this process. The media pay close attention to the information of enterprises and report it to help alleviate the asymmetry of information, reduce the cost of collecting and obtaining information, and enhance the transparency of enterprises.So as to enhance the value of enterprises.On the basis of information asymmetry theory and stakeholder theory, this paper expounds the internal relationship between environmental information disclosure quality and enterprise value and its mechanism from the perspective of theory, and makes a theoretical study on the relationship between them.Then, this paper takes the heavy pollution industry as the research object, selects the A-share heavy pollution industry listed companies of Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets as the research sample, carries on the empirical research to our country heavy pollution industry enterprise environmental information disclosure and the enterprise value correlation.At the same time, media attention is introduced as a regulating variable, and the regulatory role of media concern in the relationship between environmental information disclosure and enterprise value is empirically tested.The empirical results show that the quality of environmental information disclosure is positively correlated with the enterprise value, that is, the higher the quality of environmental information disclosure, the higher the enterprise value.The positive correlation between environmental information disclosure quality and enterprise value is more significant.Finally, combined with the research results of this paper, to corporate managers, news media and government departments to put forward relevant policy recommendations.
