[Abstract]:In the Han Dynasty, there is a pattern called "cross and cross", which is characterized by cross line crossing through the circle, and art historians interpret it as "ascending fairy" in the context of the study of tomb art. From the perspective of architectural history, the architectural historical documents of Han Dynasty were searched and compared with the stone relief, and it was found that this pattern was the ancient "trivial" pattern. The gate of the emperor's residence in the Han Dynasty was called the "Qingzao Gate" because of the engraving and painting of the door frame. After the Southern and Northern dynasties, the word "Qingzao window" appeared in poetry and prose of the Southern and Northern dynasties and was widely used in literature. Its characteristics had nothing to do with the pattern of "Qingzao", but the double door and window pattern. Tracing back to the history of "Qingzao" reveals the phenomenon of "different meanings of the same name" in Chinese ancient words in the fields of architecture, art, literature and so on.
