西義順破產(chǎn)案與過(guò)爐銀制度的衰落

【摘要】：晚清以來(lái),通行于東北地區(qū)的過(guò)爐銀作為一項(xiàng)極具特色的區(qū)域貨幣和信用體系,為當(dāng)時(shí)的進(jìn)出口貿(mào)易提供了交易媒介和信用工具�？v觀過(guò)爐銀制度從誕生到被廢止的70余年的歷史,其經(jīng)歷了兩個(gè)重要的標(biāo)志性轉(zhuǎn)折,一是1907年的東盛和破產(chǎn)案;二是1918-1919年的西義順破產(chǎn)風(fēng)波。東盛和破產(chǎn)是外部沖擊長(zhǎng)期積累的結(jié)果,它標(biāo)志著過(guò)爐銀制度的重大調(diào)整和市場(chǎng)覆蓋范圍的逐步收縮。而西義順破產(chǎn)風(fēng)波則是商幫之間惡性競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的結(jié)果。隨著官方對(duì)金融市場(chǎng)管理的逐步強(qiáng)化,政策趨于收緊,過(guò)爐銀作為一種民間貨幣逐漸走向衰落。西義順銀爐破產(chǎn)案的發(fā)生、破產(chǎn)救濟(jì)、政府監(jiān)管和過(guò)爐銀制度的衰落,從一個(gè)側(cè)面反映了近代競(jìng)爭(zhēng)性貨幣市場(chǎng)的運(yùn)行及民間貨幣的最終命運(yùn)。
[Abstract]:Since the late Qing Dynasty, as a special regional currency and credit system, the transmuted silver, which was used in Northeast China, provided the medium and credit tool for the import and export trade at that time. From the birth to the abolition of the silver system in the past 70 years, it has experienced two important iconic transitions, one is the Dongsheng and bankruptcy cases in 1907, the other is the bankruptcy storm of Xiyi Shun in 1918-1919. Dongsheng and bankruptcy are the result of long-term accumulation of external shocks, which symbolize the major adjustment of over-furnace silver system and the gradual contraction of market coverage. And the West Yi Shun bankruptcy storm is the result of vicious competition among business groups. With the gradual strengthening of the financial market management, the policy tends to tighten, and as a kind of private currency, the silver is gradually declining. The occurrence of the bankruptcy case, the bankruptcy relief, the decline of the government supervision and the over-furnace silver system reflect the operation of the modern competitive money market and the final fate of the folk currency.
