【摘要】：文章選取1994年1月至2011年2月美元兌人民幣月平均匯率作為研究對象,首先建立STAR模型,分析了中美匯率的非線性特征,通過檢驗發(fā)現(xiàn)ESTAR模型能較好擬合匯率增量序列;其次對ESTAR-ARCH類三種組合模型進行比較,結(jié)果表明ESTAR-GARCH模型能更好地描述匯率變化的趨勢,說明匯率增量既具有對稱的非線性特征,也存在波動的群集效應(yīng);最后基于ESTAR-GARCH(1,1)模型對近兩年來美元兌人民幣月平均匯率進行預(yù)測,預(yù)測精度很高,說明所建模型非常合理,并且預(yù)測結(jié)果顯示未來十個月人民幣將繼續(xù)升值。
[Abstract]:From January 1994 to February 2011, the average monthly exchange rate between US dollar and RMB is selected as the research object. Firstly, the STAR model is established to analyze the nonlinear characteristics of the exchange rate between China and the United States. It is found that the ESTAR model can fit the increment sequence of exchange rate. The results show that the ESTAR-GARCH model can better describe the trend of exchange rate change, indicating that exchange rate increment has both symmetric nonlinear characteristics and fluctuation cluster effect. Finally, based on the ESTAR-GARCH1) model, the average monthly exchange rate of the US dollar against the RMB in the past two years is forecasted. The accuracy of the prediction is very high, which shows that the model is very reasonable, and the forecast result shows that the RMB will continue to appreciate in the next ten months.
