游戲在小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中應(yīng)用的調(diào)查研究

【摘要】:英語是小學(xué)生的一門必修課程,近年來小學(xué)英語教學(xué)得到了越來越多的關(guān)注。許多研究者分別從小學(xué)英語教學(xué)的各個方面進行了理論和實踐方面的研究。其中一個引發(fā)眾多專家學(xué)者激烈討論,同時也是比較令人擔(dān)憂的便是學(xué)生們對英語學(xué)習(xí)的興趣不足這一問題。而且隨著年級的增高,這種興趣也有逐漸遞減的趨勢。從某種程度來說,小學(xué)生們只是默默的被動接收英語知識而不是主動的去獲取,有些小學(xué)生對英語學(xué)習(xí)缺乏興趣,學(xué)習(xí)起來也比較吃力。針對這一問題,我們應(yīng)該從理論和現(xiàn)實操作兩個方面來指導(dǎo)小學(xué)英語教學(xué),采取正確有效的方法激發(fā)出小學(xué)生的興趣,這樣才能使學(xué)生們的英語學(xué)習(xí)事半功倍。運用游戲激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣是最為常見的教學(xué)手段。本文以克拉申的第二語言習(xí)得理論和兒童的認(rèn)知、心理發(fā)展特點為理論框架,并通過對小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中游戲運用的文獻進行梳理,采用了課堂觀察法、調(diào)查問卷法和訪談法來了解目前游戲在小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中應(yīng)用的現(xiàn)狀并總結(jié)出小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中用到的游戲類別及它們的使用與教學(xué)內(nèi)容和教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)的關(guān)系。另外也給小學(xué)英語教師在游戲教學(xué)中以一些相關(guān)的建議,以期完善游戲與小學(xué)英語教學(xué)的結(jié)合,力求使游戲教學(xué)能在小學(xué)英語中發(fā)揮更大的影響和作用。本研究嘗試探索以下兩個問題:(1)小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中用到的游戲類別有哪些?(2)不同的教學(xué)內(nèi)容和教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)中游戲的使用情況如何?本文以棗莊市某小學(xué)的英語教師和四年級的學(xué)生作為研究對象,通過課堂觀察記錄了小學(xué)英語課堂中游戲的使用情況,所得數(shù)據(jù)運用Excel表格進行了分析。同時筆者設(shè)計了教師訪談提綱和學(xué)生調(diào)查問卷對11名英語教師和180名學(xué)生進行調(diào)查,從學(xué)生和教師的角度分別了解目前游戲在英語課堂中的運用現(xiàn)狀。研究結(jié)果表明游戲?qū)τ谔岣哂⒄Z學(xué)習(xí)興趣非常重要,而小學(xué)生們也普遍喜歡游戲這種教學(xué)活動方式。小學(xué)英語教學(xué)中常用的游戲分類為四種:語音游戲,字母游戲,詞匯游戲和句型游戲。游戲類別的選擇與教學(xué)內(nèi)容和教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)也有一定的關(guān)聯(lián),當(dāng)教師們講到不一樣的內(nèi)容或者處于不一樣的環(huán)節(jié)時,他們所采用的游戲是不一樣的。本文調(diào)查結(jié)果有利于研究者分析目前游戲的運用現(xiàn)狀以及存在的原因,并且可以給一線教師在英語課堂中運用游戲以一些啟迪。

[Abstract]:English is a compulsory course for primary school students. In recent years, more and more attention has been paid to English teaching in primary schools. Many researchers have carried out theoretical and practical research from all aspects of English teaching in primary schools. One of them has aroused heated discussion among many experts and scholars, and it is also more worrisome that students are not interested in English learning. And with the increase of grade, this interest also has a decreasing trend. To some extent, primary school students only silently passively receive English knowledge rather than take the initiative to acquire, some primary school students lack interest in English learning, learning is also more difficult. In order to solve this problem, we should guide primary school English teaching from two aspects of theory and practical operation, and take correct and effective methods to stimulate the interest of primary school students, so that students can get twice the result with half the effort. It is the most common teaching method to use games to stimulate students' interest in learning. This paper takes Krashen's theory of second language acquisition and the characteristics of children's cognitive and psychological development as the theoretical framework, and through combing the literature on the use of games in primary school English teaching, adopts the method of classroom observation. Questionnaire and interview methods to understand the current situation of the application of games in primary school English teaching and summarize the types of games used in primary school English teaching and the relationship between their use and teaching content and teaching links. In addition, some suggestions are given to primary school English teachers in game teaching, in order to perfect the combination of game and primary school English teaching, and strive to make game teaching play a greater role in primary school English. This study attempts to explore the following two questions: (1) what are the types of games used in English teaching in primary schools? (2) what are the different teaching contents and the use of games in teaching links? In this paper, the English teachers and fourth grade students in a primary school in Zaozhuang City are taken as the research objects, and the use of games in primary school English classroom is recorded through classroom observation, and the data are analyzed by Excel table. At the same time, the author designs an outline of teacher interview and a student questionnaire to investigate 11 English teachers and 180 students, and to understand the current situation of game application in English classroom from the point of view of students and teachers. The results show that games are very important to improve interest in English learning, and primary school students generally like the teaching activities of games. There are four kinds of games commonly used in English teaching in primary schools: phonetic games, alphabetic games, vocabulary games and sentence pattern games. The choice of game categories is also related to the teaching content and teaching links. When teachers talk about different contents or are in different links, the games they use are different. The results of this paper are helpful for researchers to analyze the current situation of game use and the reasons for its existence, and can give some enlightenment to front-line teachers in the use of games in English classroom.
