運用自然拼讀法提高小學生拼讀和閱讀能力的研究

【摘要】:任何語言的學習都離不開閱讀這個重要環(huán)節(jié)。人類離開了閱讀活動,就喪失了獲取知識與信息的一個重要的途徑。學生閱讀能力的高低在很大程度上決定著學生的語言水平。在英語學習中,閱讀與拼寫是至關(guān)重要的兩個方面。即便是在那些以英語為母語的國家中,也是很重視詞匯的拼寫與閱讀能力的。對中國學生來說,閱讀和拼寫是英語學習中的兩個重大難題。而我國多年以來的英語教學與學習方法卻側(cè)重于死記硬背,這樣在某種程度上扼殺了學習英語的興趣,從而阻礙了學生的英語學習。實踐證明,傳統(tǒng)英語學習方法效率低下,多數(shù)小學生對課外英文閱讀沒有興趣,更不愿去接觸不熟悉的單詞,導致閱讀能力低下。自然拼讀法為我們提供了一條捷徑。研究表明,經(jīng)過一段時間的拼讀訓練,能夠提高學生的英文閱讀和單詞拼寫能力。通過自然拼讀法教學,引導學生在閱讀中,根據(jù)字母和發(fā)音的關(guān)系認讀單詞,以此提高閱讀興趣和水平。我們選擇了同一個小學三年級的兩個并行班級進行實驗,其中的一個班級按前面提到的所謂傳統(tǒng)方法進行教學,作為對照組;另一個班級在教學中采用自然拼讀法,著重對復合詞以及帶有雙輔音的詞進行訓練。在實驗開始前和結(jié)束實驗結(jié)果時,對兩組學生分別進行測試,用以檢驗自然拼讀法的教學效果。實驗前的初測結(jié)果表明,兩班學生的英語語言水平在實驗操作前并沒有明顯差異。然而在經(jīng)過四個月(16課時)學習以后,實驗組學生在復合詞的拼寫和理解方面有要明顯進步,測試成績高于對照組,統(tǒng)計學檢驗差異顯著。實驗結(jié)果表明:1)經(jīng)過教學實驗,兩組學生拼寫和閱讀方面存在較顯著的差異,實驗組明顯高于對照組;2)實驗組對44個音的掌握情況、對復合詞和帶有雙輔音詞的掌握、拼讀能力和閱讀能力等方面都優(yōu)于對照組;3)在掌握了自然拼讀法后,控制組的學生在學習上表現(xiàn)出更積極主動的態(tài)度,而其他學生則沒有變化,而且學習依舊很消極被動。研究表明,拼讀法能夠提高小學生的閱讀和拼寫能力。與此同時,我們?nèi)匀恍枰_展進一步的研究,通過研究統(tǒng)計更多的數(shù)據(jù),以此來確認、豐富和發(fā)展自然拼讀法。
[Abstract]:Reading is an important part of any language learning. When human beings leave reading, they lose an important way to acquire knowledge and information. The level of students' reading ability determines the students' language level to a great extent. In English learning, reading and spelling are two important aspects. Even in native English speaking countries, the spelling and reading ability of words are emphasized. For Chinese students, reading and spelling are two major problems in English learning. However, English teaching and learning methods in China for many years have focused on rote memorization, which to some extent stifles the interest in learning English, thus hindering students' English learning. Practice has proved that the traditional English learning methods are inefficient and most of the pupils are not interested in reading after class and do not want to contact unfamiliar words which leads to poor reading ability. Natural spelling provides us with a shortcut. The study shows that after a period of spelling training, students can improve their English reading and spelling ability. Through the teaching of natural spelling, students are guided to recognize the words according to the relationship between letters and pronunciation in reading, so as to improve their reading interest and level. We chose two parallel classes in the same third grade, one of which was taught by the so-called traditional method mentioned earlier, as a control group, and the other by natural spelling. Emphasis is placed on the training of compound words and words with double consonants. At the beginning of the experiment and the end of the experiment, the two groups of students were tested to test the teaching effect of the natural spelling method. The preliminary test results before the experiment show that there is no significant difference in English language proficiency between the two classes before the operation of the experiment. However, after four months and 16 hours of study, the students in the experimental group improved significantly in the spelling and understanding of compound words, and the test scores were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was significant in statistical test. The experimental results show that there are significant differences in spelling and reading between the two groups through teaching experiments, and the experimental group is obviously higher than the control group (2) the experimental group has a better grasp of 44 syllables, the compound words and the double-consonant words. After mastering the natural spelling method, the students in the control group showed a more active attitude in learning, while the other students did not change, and the study was still very passive. The study shows that spelling can improve the ability of reading and spelling. At the same time, we still need to carry out further research to identify, enrich and develop natural spelling by studying more data.
