【摘要】：燕京大學(xué)英文系為我國培養(yǎng)了一批精通中西文化,在不同領(lǐng)域做出了巨大貢獻(xiàn)的專家與學(xué)者。在其短短的三十余年的辦學(xué)歷史中,形成其自身特色。它以嚴(yán)格的遴選制度,尤其重視學(xué)生國文與英文的基礎(chǔ),達(dá)到培養(yǎng)中西交匯人才的目的。在此基礎(chǔ)上,以通識教育為辦學(xué)理念,重視廣博的基礎(chǔ)與專一的學(xué)科知識相結(jié)合;強(qiáng)調(diào)英文系人文學(xué)科特色,重視文學(xué)教育,為學(xué)生將來可持續(xù)發(fā)展奠基了基礎(chǔ);以雄厚的師資力量作為保障,使得其嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)學(xué)術(shù)傳統(tǒng)得以延續(xù)與傳承。通過對燕京大學(xué)英文系的優(yōu)良傳統(tǒng)挖掘與評析,以期能為當(dāng)今外語教育與文學(xué)教育提供一定借鑒。
[Abstract]:The English Department of Yanjing University has trained a group of experts and scholars who are proficient in Chinese and Western culture and have made great contributions in different fields. In its short history of running a school for more than 30 years. It forms its own characteristics. It takes strict selection system, paying special attention to the foundation of students' Chinese language and English, and achieves the purpose of cultivating talents who meet the needs of Chinese and Western. On this basis, the general education is taken as the idea of running a school. Attaching importance to the combination of extensive foundation and specialized subject knowledge; Emphasizing the characteristics of humanities in English department and attaching importance to literature education lay the foundation for the students' sustainable development in the future. With strong teachers as the guarantee, the rigorous academic tradition can be continued and passed on. The fine tradition of English Department of Yanjing University is excavated and evaluated. In order to provide some reference for today's foreign language education and literature education.
