【摘要】：陳子褒認為婦女和兒童才是中國的希望。本著這一原則,他打破女子不能入學的金科玉律,破例招收女子,興辦平民基礎(chǔ)教育,開女子義學,編婦孺教材,積極投身于轟轟烈烈的教育實際當中,為中國近代的初等教育做出了重要貢獻。
