語境理論在初中英語閱讀教學(xué)的應(yīng)用

閱讀是人們獲取信息、進(jìn)行交流的重要途徑。英語閱讀理解集語法、詞匯等于一身,能夠充分考察學(xué)生對(duì)英語的綜合掌握及運(yùn)用能力。因此,英語閱讀教學(xué)一直備受教師和學(xué)生的關(guān)注。但當(dāng)前的閱讀課堂仍然主要以教師為中心,只注重知識(shí)點(diǎn)的講解而忽略閱讀方法和技巧的培養(yǎng)。從而導(dǎo)致學(xué)生死記硬背單詞和課文、生搬硬套語法規(guī)則、機(jī)械呆板操練句型,吸取的信息量小,閱讀速度慢,知識(shí)面狹窄,分析能力差。這大大阻礙了學(xué)生英語思維和閱讀能力的發(fā)展和提高。沒有語境,也就無所謂文章。中文里也早有“詞不離句,句不離段,段不離文,文不離用”的說法。語境在閱讀中的作用不容小覷。因此,本文試圖將語境理論運(yùn)用于閱讀教學(xué),注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的語境意識(shí)和語境策略,從而提高其閱讀能力和語言的綜合運(yùn)用能力。 本研究運(yùn)用多種研究方法對(duì)深圳市寶安區(qū)新湖中學(xué)的94名七年級(jí)學(xué)生進(jìn)行了為期一學(xué)期的實(shí)驗(yàn),旨在驗(yàn)證語境理論運(yùn)用于閱讀教學(xué)的可行性和有效性。作者隨機(jī)將七年級(jí)四班定為實(shí)驗(yàn)班,七年級(jí)五班為控制班。兩個(gè)班的英語總體成績(jī)相當(dāng),選用相同的英語教材和資料并均由本文作者進(jìn)行英語授課。實(shí)驗(yàn)班用語境理論指導(dǎo)閱讀教學(xué),控制班用傳統(tǒng)方法進(jìn)行教學(xué)。通過對(duì)問卷調(diào)查、前測(cè)后測(cè)、訪...
