隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展和社會(huì)進(jìn)步,人們的物質(zhì)生活水平不斷提高。與此同時(shí),現(xiàn)代化發(fā)展帶來(lái)的負(fù)面影響也日益突出:生態(tài)環(huán)境不斷惡化、精神追求難以實(shí)現(xiàn)。越來(lái)越多的人將目光轉(zhuǎn)向中國(guó)古代哲學(xué)思想,希望能夠從中找尋美好生活的真諦。中國(guó)古代哲學(xué)家對(duì)人與自然關(guān)系的探索符合人類(lèi)文明進(jìn)步要求,對(duì)解決人類(lèi)工業(yè)文明困境,幫助人們樹(shù)立正確的生活態(tài)度有重要的啟示作用。本篇報(bào)告的翻譯材料選自《正道:中國(guó)哲學(xué)家論好的生活》第四章——“論決定:孟子與瞬息萬(wàn)變的世界”。該書(shū)由哈佛大學(xué)教授邁克爾·普鳴與作家克里斯蒂·格羅斯-駱合著,詳細(xì)介紹了孔、孟、老、莊等著名哲學(xué)家以及主要哲學(xué)思想。譯者在等效翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下,從詞匯、句法、語(yǔ)篇層面探討如何創(chuàng)造對(duì)譯入語(yǔ)讀者產(chǎn)生同樣效果的譯文。等效翻譯強(qiáng)調(diào)信息對(duì)接受者的作用,即接受者從中所獲得的一切理解和感受,包括主要精神,具體事實(shí)和意境氣氛三大要素。該翻譯項(xiàng)目報(bào)告主要有以下幾點(diǎn)研究結(jié)果:在詞匯層面,譯者應(yīng)當(dāng)避免直譯,注重傳達(dá)文化負(fù)載詞的內(nèi)涵;在句法層面,使用回譯法追本溯源,盡力還原引語(yǔ)的中文表達(dá);對(duì)長(zhǎng)難句進(jìn)行拆分重組,分譯合譯并行;在語(yǔ)篇層面,注重文章前后銜接關(guān)系,適當(dāng)采用省略、重復(fù)和增譯法。為了實(shí)...
