【摘要】：出現(xiàn)于19世紀(jì)后期的美國研究型大學(xué),使科研和研究生教育在美國高等教育系統(tǒng)中找到了合法位置。從出現(xiàn)到"二戰(zhàn)",美國研究型大學(xué)經(jīng)歷了設(shè)法"容納"科研到偏重科研的過程。"二戰(zhàn)"之后,美國研究型大學(xué)獲得了巨大發(fā)展,走進(jìn)"黃金時(shí)代",但隨之卻遭遇了"重科研輕教學(xué)"的日益激烈的評判。20世紀(jì)八九十年代以來,美國研究型大學(xué)開啟頗具聲勢的本科教育重建運(yùn)動(dòng),教學(xué)與科研關(guān)系有所改善。
[Abstract]:American research universities, which appeared in the late 19th century, made scientific research and graduate education legal in the American higher education system. From its emergence to World War II, American research universities experienced the process of "accommodating" scientific research to focusing on scientific research. After World War II, American research universities made great progress and entered the "golden age," but then encountered the increasingly fierce judgment of "emphasizing scientific research and neglecting teaching." since the 1980s and 1990s, Research universities in the United States have launched a vigorous undergraduate education reconstruction movement, and the relationship between teaching and research has improved.
