【摘要】：二十世紀(jì)八十年代以來，英語教育中的文化因素逐漸受到重視，文化在語言教學(xué)中的重要性已在外語界受到普遍認(rèn)可。目的語言與目的語文化相結(jié)合的教學(xué)方法已取得了顯著的成就，使學(xué)生在學(xué)習(xí)英語語言的同時了解了英美國家的文化，從而拓寬了學(xué)生的文化視野。然而同時這種文化教學(xué)忽視了學(xué)習(xí)者的母語文化教學(xué)，導(dǎo)致學(xué)生無法用英語來表達(dá)中國文化，在一定程度上阻礙了學(xué)生跨文化交際能力的提高�？缥幕浑H是雙向性的，文化教學(xué)應(yīng)同時兼顧目的語文化和母語文化。英語學(xué)習(xí)既要了解西方文化，也非常有必要了解中國文化并能夠用英語對外傳播本民族文化。 對外漢語專業(yè)專門培養(yǎng)有較深漢語言文化功底、熟練掌握英語、日后能在國內(nèi)外從事對外漢語教學(xué)的師資，或從事對外文化交流工作的實用型專門人才�；诖�，對外漢語專業(yè)的學(xué)生必須透徹深入地掌握中國文化，至少精通一門外語。然而，，他們用英語表達(dá)中國文化的能力怎么樣呢？本研究以湖北工業(yè)大學(xué)100名對外漢語專業(yè)的大學(xué)生為研究對象，以他們用英語表達(dá)中國文化的能力為研究主題，采用測試和問卷調(diào)查的方式，運用定量和定性相結(jié)合的研究方法分析對外漢語專業(yè)學(xué)生的中國文化英語表達(dá)能力狀況。本研究還對對外漢語專業(yè)學(xué)生所用英語和有關(guān)中國文化的教材進(jìn)行了調(diào)查。研究發(fā)現(xiàn)對外漢語專業(yè)大學(xué)生的中國文化英語表達(dá)能力普遍較低，他們對中國文化的態(tài)度和其中國文化英語表達(dá)能力沒有關(guān)聯(lián)；目前對外漢語專業(yè)的教學(xué)現(xiàn)狀，學(xué)生在用英語表達(dá)中國傳統(tǒng)文化方面缺乏積累，以及介紹中國文化的英語資料不足是導(dǎo)致學(xué)生能力低下的原因。在總結(jié)本研究結(jié)果的基礎(chǔ)上，作者從課程設(shè)置、教材教輔、教師和學(xué)生等方面來討論如何提高學(xué)生用英語表達(dá)中國文化的能力，以解決跨文化交際行為中中國文化失語的問題，使學(xué)生在今后的對外漢語教學(xué)和交流活動中能夠更好地傳播中國文化。
