面向電信運營商專用視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)的性能評估和優(yōu)化

【摘要】:智能化產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展迅速。繼智能手機和平板電腦的普及后,智能電視開始蓬勃發(fā)展。電視最初的核心功能是提供視頻直播服務(wù),基于這個特性和用戶已養(yǎng)成的使用習(xí)慣,視頻業(yè)務(wù)仍將是智能電視的核心業(yè)務(wù)之一。為保證服務(wù)質(zhì)量,智能電視視頻業(yè)務(wù)一般采用內(nèi)容分發(fā)網(wǎng)絡(luò)進行視頻分發(fā)。相比普通內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng),電信運營商專用視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)不需要租賃帶寬且可以與底層網(wǎng)絡(luò)進行更緊密地耦合,具有成本和性能的雙重優(yōu)勢。因此電信運營商專用視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)可能是未來承擔(dān)智能電視視頻分發(fā)的主力。但隨著智能電視的發(fā)展,它所依賴的內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)需要不斷擴大,系統(tǒng)部署和運營成本急劇上升,嚴重制約著系統(tǒng)的進一步發(fā)展。因此針對電信運營商專用視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)成本控制的研究具有重大的實際意義。本文從這一實際需求出發(fā),從成本控制角度對電信運營商專用視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)進行了性能評估和優(yōu)化。為此,我們提出了一個基于統(tǒng)計的內(nèi)容分發(fā)評估方案,該方案首先分析了電信運營商專用視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)系統(tǒng)的實際情況,包括真實網(wǎng)絡(luò)架構(gòu)和用戶行為等;然后提出了運營商真正關(guān)心的性能指標和相關(guān)參數(shù);隨后建立了內(nèi)容分發(fā)策略理論模型,定性地描述了性能指標和相關(guān)參數(shù)間的關(guān)系;構(gòu)建了一個大規(guī)模視頻內(nèi)容分發(fā)仿真系統(tǒng),用真實網(wǎng)絡(luò)環(huán)境和用戶行為激勵仿真系統(tǒng),進行大量仿真實驗。實驗結(jié)果表明了性能指標和相關(guān)參數(shù)間的定量關(guān)系,得到了使系統(tǒng)成本最小的分發(fā)策略參數(shù)設(shè)置,為電信運營商選擇分發(fā)策略和設(shè)置參數(shù)提供了理論依據(jù)。
[Abstract]:The intelligent industry is developing rapidly. After the popularity of smart phones and tablets, smart TV has begun to flourish. The core function of television was to provide live video service. Based on this feature and the usage habits developed by users, video service will still be one of the core services of smart TV, in order to ensure the quality of service. Intelligent TV video service generally uses content distribution network for video distribution, compared with common content distribution system. Private video content distribution system for telecom operators does not need to lease bandwidth and can be more tightly coupled with the underlying network. Because of the dual advantages of cost and performance, the dedicated video content distribution system for telecom operators may be the main force in the future. However, with the development of smart TV. The content distribution system on which it relies needs to be expanded and the cost of system deployment and operation has risen dramatically. The further development of the system is seriously restricted. Therefore, it is of great practical significance to study the cost control of dedicated video content distribution system for telecom operators. This paper evaluates and optimizes the performance of dedicated video content distribution system for telecom operators from the point of view of cost control. For this purpose, we propose a statistical content distribution evaluation scheme. The scheme firstly analyzes the actual situation of the private video content distribution system of telecom operators, including the real network architecture and user behavior. Then put forward the real concern of the operator performance indicators and related parameters; Then the content distribution strategy theory model is established, and the relationship between the performance index and related parameters is described qualitatively. A large scale video content distribution simulation system is constructed. A large number of simulation experiments are carried out using real network environment and user behavior incentive simulation system. The experimental results show the quantitative relationship between performance indicators and related parameters. The system cost minimized distribution policy parameter setting is obtained, which provides a theoretical basis for telecom operators to select distribution policy and set parameters.
