董事會(huì)文化多樣性對(duì)公司績(jī)效的影響

【摘要】:基于霍氏文化框架,從文化多樣性的角度,通過綜合董事會(huì)成員的個(gè)人主義、男子主義、權(quán)力距離和不確定性規(guī)避四個(gè)維度特征,構(gòu)建了董事會(huì)的文化多樣性指標(biāo),研究了中國(guó)上市公司董事會(huì)特征對(duì)公司績(jī)效的影響。研究發(fā)現(xiàn),董事會(huì)文化多樣性對(duì)公司績(jī)效有顯著的正向作用,在采用穩(wěn)健性檢驗(yàn)和控制變量的內(nèi)生性后,這種正向作用仍然是顯著的。本文的研究為上市公司治理提供了一個(gè)新的視角和決策參考。
[Abstract]:Based on Huo's cultural framework and from the perspective of cultural diversity, the index of cultural diversity of the board of directors is constructed by integrating the characteristics of individualism, manism, power distance and uncertainty avoidance of the board of directors. This paper studies the influence of board characteristics on the performance of listed companies in China. It is found that the cultural diversity of the board of directors has a significant positive effect on corporate performance, and this positive effect is still significant after adopting the robustness test and controlling the endogenous variables. The research in this paper provides a new perspective and decision-making reference for listed corporate governance.
