【摘要】:知識(shí)經(jīng)濟(jì)時(shí)代,企業(yè)間的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)體現(xiàn)為核心能力之爭(zhēng),個(gè)體的知識(shí)創(chuàng)新行為因獨(dú)特而又難以模仿日益成為企業(yè)核心能力的重要成分。個(gè)體的行為不是孤立發(fā)生的,創(chuàng)新也不是單獨(dú)個(gè)體可以完成的。個(gè)體嵌入在由人組成合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)之中,其創(chuàng)新行為有強(qiáng)烈的網(wǎng)絡(luò)屬性。個(gè)體占據(jù)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置以及能力的異質(zhì)性均會(huì)影響其知識(shí)創(chuàng)新績(jī)效。個(gè)體在合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)中的位置不是既定的,由人的合作互動(dòng)形成的合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)也不是靜態(tài)的,因此,需要以一種動(dòng)態(tài)演化的視角來(lái)研究合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)與個(gè)體知識(shí)創(chuàng)新之間的關(guān)系。個(gè)體怎樣才能在合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)中占據(jù)某一網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置?合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置與個(gè)體能力將對(duì)個(gè)體知識(shí)創(chuàng)新績(jī)效產(chǎn)生何種影響?本文認(rèn)為網(wǎng)絡(luò)結(jié)構(gòu)洞與中心性是兩個(gè)重要的因素,并借鑒前人的研究將以往績(jī)效作為個(gè)體能力的代理。借助社會(huì)網(wǎng)絡(luò)理論和知識(shí)創(chuàng)新理論,本文探討了合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)結(jié)構(gòu)洞、中心性位置的演化,并分析個(gè)體在合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)占據(jù)的網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置及異質(zhì)的個(gè)體能力對(duì)其知識(shí)創(chuàng)新的影響機(jī)制;谏鲜龇治,提出本文的概念模型及相關(guān)假設(shè)。本文選擇生物科技企業(yè)(biotechnology company)為樣本來(lái)源,通過(guò)對(duì)禮來(lái)制藥(Eli Lilly and Company)、默克(Merck Laboratories)、雅培制藥(Abbott Laboratories)1976-1995年20年間1460名研究者的3701項(xiàng)專利數(shù)據(jù)進(jìn)行處理,構(gòu)建出專利發(fā)明者間的合作網(wǎng)絡(luò),構(gòu)造9個(gè)多元線性回歸模型完成對(duì)概念模型及研究假設(shè)的檢驗(yàn)。理論與實(shí)證的有機(jī)結(jié)合,本文的主要研究結(jié)論如下:(1)個(gè)體的以往績(jī)效對(duì)個(gè)體在合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)中占據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu)洞位置有正向影響。以往績(jī)效高的個(gè)體傾向于結(jié)成回報(bào)較高的非冗余關(guān)系,往往成為備選的潛在合作者,為以往績(jī)效高的個(gè)體帶來(lái)全新的合作者,從而有利于個(gè)體成為“橋”,占據(jù)結(jié)構(gòu)洞位置。(2)個(gè)體的以往績(jī)效對(duì)個(gè)體在合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)中占據(jù)中心性位置有正向影響。以往績(jī)效高的個(gè)體更加有動(dòng)機(jī)和能力爭(zhēng)取合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)中心性位置;潛在合作者接收到以往績(jī)效傳遞出的信號(hào),從而選擇與之合作,使個(gè)體的直接關(guān)系增多,提高個(gè)體的網(wǎng)絡(luò)中心性。(3)合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)結(jié)構(gòu)洞位置與中心性位置均對(duì)個(gè)體知識(shí)創(chuàng)新有正向影響。說(shuō)明創(chuàng)新具有網(wǎng)絡(luò)屬性,網(wǎng)絡(luò)為個(gè)體提供了資源與機(jī)會(huì),網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置的不同會(huì)造成個(gè)體創(chuàng)新績(jī)效的差異。(4)以往績(jī)效對(duì)網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置與個(gè)體知識(shí)創(chuàng)新之間的關(guān)系有調(diào)節(jié)作用。具體來(lái)說(shuō),以往績(jī)效正向調(diào)節(jié)合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)結(jié)構(gòu)洞與個(gè)體知識(shí)創(chuàng)新之間的關(guān)系,正向調(diào)節(jié)合作網(wǎng)絡(luò)中心性與個(gè)體知識(shí)創(chuàng)新之間的關(guān)系。在此,以往績(jī)效作為能力的代理,說(shuō)明個(gè)體能力的差異對(duì)于個(gè)體利用網(wǎng)絡(luò)位置帶來(lái)的資源與機(jī)會(huì)有顯著影響,從而影響個(gè)體的創(chuàng)新績(jī)效。
[Abstract]:In the era of knowledge economy, competition among enterprises is reflected in the competition of core competence, and individual knowledge innovation behavior is becoming an important component of enterprise core competence because of its unique and difficult to imitate. Individual behavior does not occur in isolation, nor can innovation be accomplished by individuals alone. An individual is embedded in a cooperative network composed of human beings, and its innovation behavior has strong network properties. The network location occupied by individuals and the heterogeneity of their abilities will affect their knowledge innovation performance. The position of the individual in the cooperative network is not established, and the cooperative network formed by the human cooperative interaction is not static. Therefore, it is necessary to study the relationship between the cooperative network and individual knowledge innovation from a dynamic evolutionary perspective. How can an individual occupy a network location in a cooperative network? How does the location of cooperative network and individual ability affect the performance of individual knowledge innovation? This paper holds that the network structure hole and centrality are two important factors, and draw lessons from the previous studies on performance as the agent of individual ability. With the help of social network theory and knowledge innovation theory, this paper discusses the evolution of cooperative network structure hole and central position, and analyzes the influence mechanism of individual's network position occupied by cooperative network and heterogeneous individual ability on their knowledge innovation. Based on the above analysis, this paper puts forward the conceptual model and related assumptions. In this paper, we choose biotech company as the sample source, and construct a cooperative network among patent inventors by processing the 3701 patent data of 1460 researchers in the 20 years between Eli Lilly and Company, Merck Merck, Abbott Laboratories)1976-1995 and Abbott Laboratories)1976-1995. Nine multivariate linear regression models are constructed to test conceptual models and research hypotheses. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows: 1) the past performance of individuals has a positive effect on the positions of structural holes in cooperative networks. In the past, individuals with high performance tend to form non-redundant relationships with higher returns, and often become potential collaborators, bringing new collaborators to the former ones with high performance, which is conducive to individual becoming "bridge". The past performance of the individual has a positive effect on the central position of the individual in the cooperative network. Individuals with higher performance in the past have more motivation and ability to gain the central position of the cooperative network, and the potential collaborators receive the signals from the previous performance and choose to cooperate with them, thus increasing the direct relationship of the individual. To improve the network centrality of individuals, both the hole location and the central position of cooperative network structure have a positive effect on individual knowledge innovation. It shows that innovation has the network attribute, the network provides the resources and opportunities for the individual, the difference of the network location will cause the difference of the individual innovation performance. 4) the past performance has the adjustment function to the relationship between the network location and the individual knowledge innovation. Specifically, the relationship between the former positive adjustment cooperative network structure hole and individual knowledge innovation, and the relationship between positive adjustment cooperation network centrality and individual knowledge innovation. In this paper, performance as the agent of ability shows that the difference of individual ability has a significant impact on the resources and opportunities brought about by the use of the network location, thus affecting the innovation performance of the individual.
