[Abstract]:This paper explores and combs the organizational inertia and its antecedents, performance and resource configuration, resource operation mode, ability evolution path and so on in the development of TCL Group by using a longitudinal case study method. Combining the organizational ecology theory with the resource-based theory and the evolutionary economic theory, this paper analyzes the role of inertia factors in the evolution of resource capacity and organizational performance, in order to expand the relevant theoretical framework. Excavate the problem root of the transition development of our country home appliance manufacturing industry during the transition period. The results show that the case enterprises gradually accumulate and show different degrees of inertia in the process of resource operation in each stage, some of which even affect the resource configuration and play an important role in the strategic decision of the enterprise, and shape the long-term resource operation mode. Furthermore, it influences the transformation and upgrading of enterprise capability, innovation development and transformation opportunity. The research proves that organizational inertia plays a key role in resource allocation and capability evolution.
