【摘要】：已有文獻(xiàn)普遍借助于空間計(jì)量模型來檢驗(yàn)標(biāo)尺競(jìng)爭(zhēng)理論。本文指出,傳統(tǒng)上基于外生空間權(quán)重矩陣的空間回歸模型并不適合刻畫當(dāng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)標(biāo)尺是內(nèi)生決定的情形。為此,本文首次建立一類命名為空間秩次自回歸(spatial rank-order auto-regression,SRAR)的模型來考察截面上的內(nèi)生標(biāo)尺競(jìng)爭(zhēng)效應(yīng)。P(1)階SRAR模型表現(xiàn)了截面上任一個(gè)體與相對(duì)績(jī)效優(yōu)于或劣于自身的前P個(gè)近鄰個(gè)體展開競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的情景,因而刻畫了一種超越傳統(tǒng)地理意義的內(nèi)生空間相關(guān)結(jié)構(gòu)。在運(yùn)用所提模型對(duì)國(guó)內(nèi)81只開放式股票型基金2007~2009半年度復(fù)權(quán)凈值增長(zhǎng)率排名中可能存在的錦標(biāo)賽特征進(jìn)行估計(jì)后,我們發(fā)現(xiàn):錦標(biāo)賽效應(yīng)在各截面上均顯著存在;這一效應(yīng)表現(xiàn)出年末強(qiáng)于年中,大盤向好時(shí)強(qiáng)于大盤向差時(shí)的特點(diǎn)。估計(jì)結(jié)果提示標(biāo)尺競(jìng)爭(zhēng)型激勵(lì)機(jī)制分別存在于基金公司-基金經(jīng)理,基民-基金這兩層委托-代理關(guān)系中;投資組合等特征差異化不是大部分基金追求高收益的主要策略,追趕與模仿排名靠前且接近的同類基金可以解釋其中大部分的原因。空間秩次自回歸模型為研究各類有關(guān)標(biāo)尺競(jìng)爭(zhēng)與攀比效應(yīng)的經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)問題提供了一個(gè)嶄新的實(shí)證分析框架。
[Abstract]:The existing literature generally uses the spatial econometric model to test the scale competition theory. In this paper, it is pointed out that the traditional spatial regression model based on the exogenous spatial weight matrix is not suitable to describe the case when the competition scale is endogenous. To that end, In this paper, for the first time, a class of models named spatial rank autoregressive rank-order autoregressive (SRAR) model is established to investigate the competitive effect of endogenous scales on the cross section. The order SRAR model shows that the cross section has an individual and relative performance superior to or inferior to its first P number. The scene of a close neighbor competing, Therefore, it depicts an endogenetic spatial correlation structure that transcends the traditional geographical meaning. By using the proposed model to estimate the possible championship characteristics of 81 open-end equity funds in 2007 / 2009, we find that the championship effect exists significantly in all sections; This effect shows that the end of the year is stronger than the middle of the year, and the market is stronger when it is better than when it is worse. The results suggest that the scale competitive incentive mechanism exists in the principal-agent relationship between fund companies and fund managers, and that portfolio differentiation is not the main strategy for most funds to pursue high returns. Catch-up and imitation of the top and close-ranking similar funds can explain most of these reasons. The spatial rank autoregressive model provides a new empirical analysis framework for the study of various economics problems related to scale competition and comparison effect.
