【摘要】：本文研究發(fā)現(xiàn),與進(jìn)入其他城市相比,進(jìn)入高層級(jí)城市后新企業(yè)生產(chǎn)率的提升更為緩慢。在中國(guó)獨(dú)特的城市行政層級(jí)架構(gòu)下,企業(yè)設(shè)址在高層級(jí)城市可通過資源行政配置獲得更多好處,企業(yè)為爭(zhēng)取更多資源可能會(huì)迎合政府的各種訴求,導(dǎo)致資源錯(cuò)配,不利于企業(yè)生產(chǎn)率的提升。本文基于中國(guó)工業(yè)企業(yè)數(shù)據(jù),分析了新企業(yè)選址時(shí)的權(quán)衡,并考察了它們進(jìn)入不同層級(jí)城市后對(duì)政府特定目標(biāo)的響應(yīng)行為,證實(shí)了上述假說,揭示了中國(guó)高層級(jí)城市中企業(yè)集聚和生產(chǎn)率溢價(jià)的特殊之處。
[Abstract]:This paper finds that, compared with other cities, the productivity of new enterprises increases more slowly after entering high-level cities, under the unique administrative hierarchy of cities in China. Enterprise location in high-level cities can get more benefits through the administrative allocation of resources, enterprises may cater to the various demands of the government for more resources, resulting in mismatch of resources. Based on the data of Chinese industrial enterprises, this paper analyzes the tradeoffs of new enterprises' location, and examines their responses to the specific objectives of the government after entering different levels of cities. The above hypothesis is confirmed and the special features of enterprise agglomeration and productivity premium in high-level cities in China are revealed.
