隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)的全球化,特別是中國加入世界貿(mào)易組織,中國和國外的商貿(mào)交往逐漸增加。作為一種法律上有約束力的文件,國際商務(wù)合同清楚地規(guī)定了合同各方應(yīng)該履行的義務(wù),同時(shí)也賦予了合同各方的合法權(quán)益,這將有助于促進(jìn)國際商貿(mào)交往。因此,國際商務(wù)合同的翻譯在國際商貿(mào)交往中發(fā)揮著越來越重要的作用,對國際商務(wù)合同翻譯的研究也變得愈發(fā)重要和實(shí)際。許多學(xué)者業(yè)已從不同的角度對此領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行了研究,并且提出了許多翻譯技巧和原則。然而,這些研究存在一些不足之處。首先,這些研究缺乏系統(tǒng)的理論支撐。其次,盡管一些學(xué)者對國際商務(wù)合同文體特征的翻譯進(jìn)行了研究,但他們的研究主要還是以詞匯和語法層面為基礎(chǔ);幾乎沒有學(xué)者從國際商務(wù)合同功能的視角進(jìn)行過翻譯研究。因此,筆者認(rèn)為有必要從功能的視角對國際商務(wù)合同翻譯中的文體對等進(jìn)行系統(tǒng)的研究。功能文體學(xué)是文體學(xué)理論中的重要流派,在現(xiàn)代文體學(xué)研究中起著越來越重要的作用。以系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)為其理論基礎(chǔ),功能文體學(xué)理論為我們提供了一個(gè)分析和展示語體的文體特征的有效途徑。功能文體學(xué)認(rèn)為:所有語言都由三大元功能組成,文體則被視為“前景化”,即“有動因的突出”。而概念功能、人際功能和語篇功能是功能文體的三...
