隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化的到來(lái)和中國(guó)加入世界貿(mào)易組織,我國(guó)同世界各國(guó)間的在政治、文化、經(jīng)濟(jì)、法律等諸方面進(jìn)行更全面更深入的交流與合作。隨著中外法律交流日益頻繁,一方面我們需要借鑒國(guó)外的立法經(jīng)驗(yàn)和立法技術(shù),另一方面我們也需要向世界介紹我國(guó)的立法建設(shè)狀況,以期在多方位的同國(guó)際接軌,進(jìn)一步促進(jìn)我國(guó)的民主法制建設(shè)和市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展,因此法律文本的翻譯愈顯重要�！豆痉ā返挠⒆g本不僅有助于樹(shù)立我國(guó)法律的國(guó)際形象,而且有助于國(guó)外投資者了解和熟悉我國(guó)的市場(chǎng)經(jīng)濟(jì)體制和現(xiàn)代企業(yè)制度,以及實(shí)行公司制的法律依據(jù)和法律保障；有助于規(guī)范外國(guó)公司的分支機(jī)構(gòu)的組織行為,保護(hù)其合法權(quán)益。因此,《公司法》的英譯本不僅具有學(xué)術(shù)意義,而且有利于吸引外資,加強(qiáng)對(duì)外經(jīng)濟(jì)合作。賴(lài)斯提出,文本類(lèi)型會(huì)影響譯者翻譯策略的選擇,本論文在賴(lài)斯的文本類(lèi)型分類(lèi)指導(dǎo)下,通過(guò)對(duì)《中華人民共和國(guó)公司法》英譯本的分析,分析的英譯本的功能特征,指出法律文本屬于信息類(lèi)文本,忠于原文是法律翻譯的首要原則。本論文選擇中華人民共和國(guó)商務(wù)部外商投資網(wǎng)站（見(jiàn)http://www.fdi.gov.cn/pub/FDI_EN/Laws/law_e
