　　"Uncle Sam", of course, stands for the United States. It is the nickname(綽號(hào)) of the country. It is hard to believe that this nickname arose quite by accident and there was a man called "Uncle Sam "46

　　The man was called Uncle Sam Wilson. He was born in Arlington, Massachusetts (馬薩諸塞州), September 13,1766.
