論《尚書》之“習(xí)與性成”思想

【摘要】:《尚書》提出“習(xí)與性成”,指出人重復(fù)不已地習(xí)行不義之事,將會(huì)形成不義的人性。言習(xí),最終是為了言性。習(xí)進(jìn)一步演變?yōu)榱?xí)慣、習(xí)俗意義時(shí),相應(yīng)地,也展現(xiàn)了性字意義的復(fù)雜演變。性出于生字,而在此基礎(chǔ)上又發(fā)展出生命欲望的意義。正是在對(duì)人的欲望變化的所以然的追問中,也進(jìn)一步發(fā)展出了對(duì)性字的新義——本性的思考。不義的人性需要變化更新,而具體方法就是“節(jié)性”,如此便開創(chuàng)了儒家以禮義節(jié)性的修養(yǎng)工夫路向。
[Abstract]:According to the book of Shang Shu, "habit and nature become", pointing out that people who repeatedly practice injustice will form an unjust human nature. Speech practice is ultimately for the purpose of speaking nature. When Xi further evolves into custom, when custom means, correspondingly, It also shows the complex evolution of the meaning of the word "sex". The meaning of the desire for life is developed on the basis of the new word "sex". The unrighteous human nature needs to be changed and updated, and the concrete method is "saving nature", thus opening the way for Confucianism to cultivate itself with propriety and righteousness.
