[Abstract]:Objective to measure four indexes of body function evaluation and to analyze their correlation with general demographic characteristics and health status. Methods from September to October 2016, 80 middle-aged and old people aged 55 years and above in a community in Wuhan were selected by convenient sampling method. The general situation was collected by questionnaire, and the grip strength was measured, and (FTSST), was tested 5 times. Improved sensory integration balance test (mCTSIB) and "stand-up-walk" timing test (TUGT). The correlation of measurement results was analyzed. Results all 80 of them completed questionnaires and tests. The mean grip strength was (27.46 鹵9.66) kg,FTSST mean time (11.58 鹵4.03) sm CTSIB abnormality in 1 person (1.25%), TUGT) and (9.05 鹵3.47) s. Grip strength and gender (r = 0.669), educational level (r = 0.238), The (MMSE) score of mini-mental state examination (r-0.302) was correlated with the activity of daily living (ADL) () r-0.344 (P0.05), and the duration of). FTSST was correlated with gender (r = 0.274). MMSE score (r = 0.243) and ADL (r = 0.321) were correlated with sex (r = 0.255), education level (r = 0.362), average monthly income of family (r = 0.245), self-rating depression scale (r = 0.223). MMSE score (r = 0.328) and activity of daily living (r = 0.354) were correlated (P 0.05). Conclusion the grip strength and FTSST,TUGT physical function level are correlated with demographic characteristics in middle aged and old people. In the general community, the mCTSIB test was almost no abnormal.
