[Abstract]:In March 2017, the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology, affiliated to Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiaotong University, cooperated with the Department of Cardiology and Cardiology surgery to diagnose a case of acute infective endocarditis successfully. The patient was in a critical and dangerous condition, which took less than 6 days from admission to surgery. The patient was referred to Rheumatology Immunology Department of affiliated Ruijin Hospital for intermittent fever, swelling and pain of the facet joints of the hand and foot, and red rash of the lower extremities. Director Yang Chengde, Rheumatology and Immunology Department, found that in addition to the above symptoms, the patient also had anemia and murmur in the heart valve area, low blood pressure, decreased blood oxygen saturation, and other symptoms.
