【摘要】：《幕間》是弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫的絕筆之作,完成于1941年作者自殺前的一個月,正如米切爾·李斯卡所言,它是“用英文寫成的最長的自殺作品”。這部天鵝絕唱之作以第二次世界大戰(zhàn)為背景,講述了英格蘭一個小村莊一天之中發(fā)生的故事。小說設有兩條敘事主線,一條敘述了奧利弗一家的故事,另一條描述了拉特魯布女士指導的露天歷史劇。透過這兩條主線,小說揭示了父權制社會對女性等邊緣人物的束縛和傾軋以及戰(zhàn)爭陰影對村民造成的創(chuàng)傷。鑒于弗吉尼亞的個人經(jīng)歷以及作品的成書背景,筆者借用創(chuàng)傷的相關理論,主要分析了典型人物的個人創(chuàng)傷以及作品中包含的集體創(chuàng)傷,并探討了造成創(chuàng)傷的原因,同時提出筆者對創(chuàng)傷的見解。創(chuàng)傷是受害人對于痛苦經(jīng)歷的情感回應,這種創(chuàng)傷通常以嫉妒、羞愧、恐懼等心理表征呈現(xiàn),最終會影響受害人的復原能力、自我意識和價值取向。本文通過對作品中個體創(chuàng)傷與集體創(chuàng)傷的分析,發(fā)現(xiàn)創(chuàng)傷是一個復雜的過程,造成創(chuàng)傷的原因也是復雜多樣的,而書中人物的個人經(jīng)歷和自我反抗都直接或間接體現(xiàn)了弗吉尼亞一生對創(chuàng)傷的探索過程。從這一角度而言,這部小說更像是一部書寫創(chuàng)傷的心理讀本,促使讀者挖掘其中包含的深層次的、難以言明的痛苦。
