面對(duì)當(dāng)今日趨嚴(yán)峻的全球生態(tài)問(wèn)題,以尊重自然、善待動(dòng)物、保護(hù)環(huán)境為宗旨的生態(tài)倫理思想迅速成為學(xué)術(shù)界關(guān)注的熱點(diǎn)。同時(shí),賦予文學(xué)作品嶄新的生態(tài)內(nèi)涵和意義也成為生態(tài)倫理學(xué)與文學(xué)批評(píng)發(fā)展的必然趨勢(shì)。本文以杰克·倫敦的《野性的呼喚》、《白芳》和《雜種巴塔特》三部具有代表性的動(dòng)物小說(shuō)為例,以生態(tài)倫理為切入點(diǎn)來(lái)解讀三部作品中自然的價(jià)值以及人與動(dòng)物、人與自然、人與人之間的關(guān)系,通過(guò)運(yùn)用生態(tài)倫理學(xué)的相關(guān)理論對(duì)文本的分析揭示出作者對(duì)人類中心主義弊端的批判和對(duì)社會(huì)自然生態(tài)和人文生態(tài)遭受破壞的擔(dān)憂,進(jìn)而展現(xiàn)小說(shuō)中所蘊(yùn)含的作者早期的、獨(dú)特的生態(tài)倫理思想。通過(guò)從新的角度解讀經(jīng)典文學(xué)作品中人與自然的關(guān)系,挖掘出其已有的生態(tài)倫理思想,本文希望賦予經(jīng)典文學(xué)作品更大的闡釋空間,進(jìn)而也盼望能夠給現(xiàn)代人以生態(tài)倫理道德上的啟迪,深刻地反思并改造自身的行為和倫理道德準(zhǔn)則,以實(shí)現(xiàn)人類社會(huì)的可持續(xù)發(fā)展。
