【摘要】：弗朗西斯·霍奇森·伯內(nèi)特以兒童文學(xué)作品聞名于世，特別是《秘密花園》的出版，使其躋身于二十世紀(jì)最重要作家之列。該書曾作為嚴(yán)肅文學(xué)作品收入《世界經(jīng)典叢書》，美國和英國等其它國家將其改編為電視、電影、動(dòng)畫和話劇。國內(nèi)外學(xué)者曾對(duì)《秘密花園》進(jìn)行過女性主義、生態(tài)主義、現(xiàn)實(shí)主義、哥特元素及成長等多方面的解讀分析。 運(yùn)用人際功能分析文學(xué)作品是文學(xué)評(píng)論的一個(gè)新發(fā)展。人際功能旨在研究人們?nèi)绾芜\(yùn)用語言和其他人建立并保持關(guān)系，運(yùn)用語言來影響他人的行為，表達(dá)自己對(duì)世界的看法和評(píng)價(jià)。語言學(xué)家馬丁于二十世紀(jì)九十年代進(jìn)一步發(fā)展了該理論，提出了評(píng)價(jià)系統(tǒng)。 國內(nèi)外很多學(xué)者都曾運(yùn)用該理論來分析文本，但僅限于廣告語篇，法律語篇，演講語篇，課堂話語等的研究，對(duì)文學(xué)作品的研究也主要從概念功能理論角度出發(fā)。此外，《秘密花園》研究大多局限于文學(xué)領(lǐng)域。因此，本文以人際功能理論為基礎(chǔ)，，從語氣情態(tài)和評(píng)價(jià)系統(tǒng)對(duì)主要人物進(jìn)行對(duì)話分析。通過分析他們所使用的不同句子類型，情態(tài)動(dòng)詞和評(píng)價(jià)詞，探討人際功能體現(xiàn)人物性格的方式，為兒童文學(xué)的研究提供了一個(gè)嶄新的視角。 本研究的創(chuàng)新之處主要有： 第一，語氣系統(tǒng)層面，小句數(shù)量，不同語氣的使用及不同主語的選擇都能反映說話者的性格特點(diǎn)和人際關(guān)系。 第二，情態(tài)系統(tǒng)層面，情態(tài)動(dòng)詞，情態(tài)副詞和情態(tài)隱喻可以反映出說話者的性格特點(diǎn)和人際關(guān)系。 第三，評(píng)價(jià)系統(tǒng)層面，情感、判定和評(píng)價(jià)是表達(dá)說話者情感和態(tài)度的有效方式。
[Abstract]:Francis Hodgson Burnett is famous for his works on children's literature, especially the publication of Secret Garden, making him one of the most important writers of the twentieth century. The book was included as a serious literary work in the World Classic Series, adapted for television, film, animation and drama in other countries, such as the United States and the United Kingdom. Scholars at home and abroad have carried out feminist, ecologism, realism, Gothic elements and growth. Using interpersonal function to analyze literary works is a new development of literary criticism. The purpose of interpersonal function is to study how people use language to establish and maintain relationships with other people, to use language to influence others' behavior and to express their views and comments on the world. The linguist Martin further developed the theory in the 1990 s and put forward an evaluation system. Many scholars at home and abroad have used the theory to analyze the text, but only in advertising discourse, legal discourse, speech discourse, classroom discourse and so on. The study of literary works is mainly from the perspective of conceptual function theory. In addition, the study of Secret Garden is mostly confined to the field of literature. Therefore, based on the theory of interpersonal function, this paper analyzes the main characters from mood modality and evaluation system. By analyzing the different sentence types, modal verbs and evaluators used by them, this paper explores the ways in which interpersonal functions reflect the characters' character, which provides a new perspective for the study of children's literature. The main innovations of this study are as follows: first, the mood system level, the number of clauses, the use of different tones and the choice of different subjects can reflect the speaker's personality and interpersonal relationship. Second, modal system, modal verbs, modal adverbs and modal metaphors can reflect the speaker's personality and interpersonal relationships. Third, evaluation system level, emotion, judgment and evaluation are effective ways to express the speaker's emotion and attitude.
