組蛋白甲基酶的研究新進展

【摘要】:正組蛋白甲基酶(SMYD)是組蛋白賴氨酸甲基轉(zhuǎn)移酶的一個亞家族,至今已發(fā)現(xiàn)SMYD家族有5個成員,即SMYD1~5。SMYD可以甲基化組蛋白,也可以甲基化非組蛋白如p53蛋白、視網(wǎng)膜母細胞瘤腫瘤抑制基因(Rb)蛋白等,其通過甲基化作用可以在轉(zhuǎn)錄水平影響靶基因的表達,調(diào)控細胞增殖與分化。在哺乳動物,SMYD與多個系統(tǒng)的形成和發(fā)育密切相關(guān),同時在腫瘤的發(fā)生和演進過程中發(fā)揮重要生物學(xué)功能。對其進一步的研究將為多種疾病的診治提供新的思路。
[Abstract]:Histone methylase (SMYD) is a subfamily of histone lysine methyltransferase. So far, it has been found that the SMYD family has five members, that is, SMYD1~5.SMYD can methylate histone, but also methylate non-histone such as p53 protein. Retinoblastoma tumor suppressor gene (Rb) protein can affect the expression of target gene and regulate cell proliferation and differentiation at the transcriptional level by methylation. SMYD is closely related to the formation and development of multiple systems in mammals and plays an important biological role in tumorigenesis and progression. Further study will provide new ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases.
